    Tropico is outside the tourist zone of Kuta, a hidden gem, even though on the road the setup provides a quiet retreat. Ample parking. It’s budget cos RT for the area, but provides all you need for a stay. Clean, simple, wifi and friendly helpful staff. Always available for suggestions and help. Will come again.

    I have never left a review for anywhere in my life but I felt I needed to for this hotel so people do not make the same mistake. Do not book here to stay! We arrived and felt very much catfished. The photos are not true. The “hotel” is built inside a car park on a main busy road. The swimming pool has no Sun loungers or even space to sun bathe. The actual pool is itself is unclean and simply horrid. The restaurant is closed, dirty, run down and had vehicles inside it. It seems to be the reception now or rather a staff hang out zone. Our room was awful. We asked to change the sheets twice. The original sheets were covered in black, green and yellow stains. When changing the bed which we did ourselves there was no mattress protector and yellow/brown stains on the actual mattress. We were then given “clean” sheets and a mattress protector which again were covered by in black, brown and yellow stains. The mattress protector they provided actually had dried blood on it. I went to the bathroom to use the toilet and physically couldn’t bring myself to. It was covered in brown/yellow stains. The walls were green with mould and dirty. Me and my partner promptly decided we could not stay here. We booked another hotel within the hour of our arrival and checked out. To which the receptionist simply shrugged and was so unbothered. We could not receive a refund. The only good thing I can say is that we used the patchy, weak wifi to get ourselves the hell out in there!!!

    This hotel was so affordable. It was easy to find mini market and to rent scooter. This hotel was close to GWK statue! I just knew that there is the biggest statue in Bali.The staff is amazing. The room is clean

    Close to one of the main routes up to uluwathu- therefore noisy at times but convenient. Bathroom no windows and shower sink misplaced so you flood the bathroom while taking shower- they try to avoid the worst by cleaning everyday - drawers are roten Woods with holes. However I don’t mind all this as it just was for a couple of days and most time u spent anyway outside.

    I stay here for 3 night with my family. The place is really comfortable, quiet, no club and bar around so family friendly. Staff really helpfull and kind, We ordered to pickup from airport and our flight is delay more than 3 hours but the staff very patient to wait.The room is good, everyday always clean, the bed also comfortable, but the breakfast is limited variant. The pool also clean and refreshing.
