Location

Located in the cultural heartland of Bali, this resort is located 2 km away from the centre of Ubud. It is surrounded by a natural landscape that encompasses rice terraces, meandering rivers and tropical terrain. It is a harmonious setting in which guests can take time out to enliven their senses. The resort is also located 1 hour from Bali's Denpasar International Airport.

Facility

In addition to 16 villas/houses, guests can also choose from a selection of 16 rooms. At this resort, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the English-speaking staff. A check-in/check-out service is available at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms include air conditioning and a fan. Some rooms include a balcony. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The complex has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

On hot days, guests can take a refreshing dip in one of the 2 outdoor pools, and an indoor pool ensures that swimming is always an option, even if the weather is not quite cooperating. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the resort, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and hiking.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. Bed and breakfast can be booked. A wide variety of dishes are served at all three main mealtimes. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner as a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

Best value for money in ubud

The villas are the best. Exceptional quality rooms and everything is in great condition. Beautiful staff, great food, awsome service. What you get for the money is outstanding. They even provide a shuttle bus into the town centre. A k mart is also only 50 meters away incase you need anything. Best place ive ever stayed for the price. 2 rooms each with an onsuite, a really spacious family room with everything from cooking facilities, a private pool, private spar, etc etc. The most impressive part, although this sounds obvious, is everything from the the fridge to the air con to the two large TV's actually works flawlessly .Would recommend and definitely recommend

This is a tough one as we did enjoy our stay… So straight off the bat, we got a stonking deal for what is an apartment with private pool. Having our own pool was great… not had this before. The kitchen/lounge was huge & the TV’s in the bedroom & lounge were both massive with Netflix & Youtube so that’s good and the staff are all lovely, they really are.But as much as we enjoyed our time there, it’s the details that let it down sadly. The standards of cleanliness is lacking & the room(s) we stayed in need updating. It’s not the big items, it’s the small things like towel rails hanging off the walls, wonky taps where they’ve repaired leaks, only one towel each… no hand towels, no pool towels, no tea towels in the kitchen, only 1 plate, dirty mastic/sealant around all the bathroom fittings, dirt build up in the corners, pealing paint etc. It’s a real shame as it could be amazing IF they would address the basics. They have a great hotel with great facilities let down by standards. And what’s highlighting it is the fact we’ve just checked into our next hotel in Sanur & it’s immaculately clean, smells fresh etc. with plenty of towels. It is what it is…

Great sized living room with lovely pool looking out over the rice fields. The Bayu villas are great for a couple with one child. Bathrooms are tired, and lack quality amenities, but the rooms are lovely and the staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Gorgeous hotel. Beautiful rooms and infinty pool. Very helpful shuttle to and from main ubud , every 2 hours, which just takes a few minutes . Beautiful food. It was my daughters birthday and the staff were gorgeous and made a big fuss of her. I would defictaley go back to this hotel which was central, extremely modern with fantastic staff and a shuttle to town!

Struggle to understand some negative reviews! We had a wonderful stay here at Ubud Green!We stayed for 5 nights at the end of a 2 weeks holiday around Asia. The staff really make this place special, so attentive, thoughtful and friendly. It was out 20th wedding anniversary and they went out their way to make it special with bed decorations, a cake delivered and staff congratulating us. The accommodation is fantastic, a real experience. You can clearly see why it’s called Ubud green, we loved the views and wildlife. Yes we had a few lizards appear in the villa but your in the middle of Bali! The staff came and help the visitors back outside. We booked a one bedroom villa with pool but we’re upgraded to a 2 bedroom one. We enjoyed the noise of the tree frogs at night whilst relaxing in our huge villa, really relaxing. It has all you need and housekeeping is fabulous, our villa was cleaned daily, clean towels etc. Lots of bottle water left daily with Bali coffee grounds and tea bags too. It is a short walk from the main hub in Ubud but we walked in and back daily no issues. Took the shuttle back one evening as had a lot of shopping from the market and didn’t fancy a 15 min walk up hill with it in the humid heat. The bus runs regularly but you can also get a taxi for next to nothing. Being away from the main hustle and bustle was great for relaxing. Breakfast service is a little slow but it’s all made fresh so we didn’t mind the wait, just keep in mind it is a wait if going on an early tour etc. We ate in the restaurant one evening and one lunchtime too, food always delicious and a good price. Highly recommend you try the floating breakfast one morning. Highly recommend a stay here and if we are in Ubud again will definitely stay here!
