Nice secluded place but the staff weren’t overly helpful

    rating15 May 2019

Really lovely surroundings away from the busy main road but only a short walk in to ubud. Comfy bed. Great breakfast, massive! However room was very dark and very hot. Not overly clean and staff weren’t particularly friendly

    So Balinese

Everything was amazing, starting with welcome drink and cold towels to clean our hands ending with pool and great and well kept environment. Breakfast was so artistic, every day it was different ornaments around small plates of everything, very good selection. There is a/c in house but we didn't need it as the house is so well built and it was never hot in it.

    2 Night Stay

    rating08 Jan 2019

We stayed in the 2 level family villa for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast is delicious, they give you sooooo much food and there are several options to choose from. Breakfast was like a 4 course meal and really filled us for the day. We found the staff to be lovely, we didn’t have a lot of interaction with them as we were out for most of the days exploring, but when we did it was friendly and professional. The bathroom had a corner bath tub, our girls enjoyed having a big bubble bath after a big day exploring. The bath overlooked a rice field which was cute. The pool is a decent size and has a shallow and deep end. Enough to keep the kids entertained and to cool off in the heat. Water was clean and surrounding gardens well maintained. There are definitely things that can be improved but for a short stay it was nice. Improvements include; light blocking window furnishings, the current curtains blockout very little light and the lighting outside is on all night so our room was quite lit up, a more powerful air conditioner or ceiling fans. The room had one portable fan and one aircon but we were still quite warm. New bed linen and bath towels - they seem to be ready for an update to make them fresher and to look nicer, the ones we had were quite worn and a little discoloured. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the authentic feel to this accomodation. I’d recommend staying but only for a couple of nights.

    So beautiful

    rating28 Aug 2018

First of all the name really hits the nail on its head as it is very hidden. Whilst close to the center of ubud you have to walk a small tiny aile to find this place. At there it is - a true gem with three houses around a pool just besides rice fields. We had the family bungalow and loved everything about it - the traditional architecture, the smell, the small pond ride next to it and of course the small terrace with direct view on the rice fields where we could small birds sitting on the plants there. The house was very clean, towels very changed every day, cleaning was done properly. One shouldn’t complain to find small animals in and around the property- if you want to life in or close to nature, nature will come to you.The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Pool nice as well. We will come back :-)

    Beautiful Gems in Ubud!

    rating21 May 2018

At first, I was really concern about this accomodation based on its review. But actually this villa is really exceeded my expectation. I stayed here for 2 nights with my two Dutch friends and it is really beyond our expectation. The villa is so romantic and beautiful. There is only 2 or 3 villa in the area, so it was so quiet and calm. Sometimes there were sounds of motorbike from the street but just okay. We stayed in Deluxe Villa and it was accommodated us perfectly, with two twin bed upstairs and one big bed downstairs. What we love the most is the view that we can always enjoy in every corner of the villa as the walls are mostly made of glass windows. The breathtaking views of sunrise in the rice paddies is really unforgettable as we can saw it from our bed! The bathroom is spacious, clean, fully equipped, including a bath with a view of rice paddies as well. The breakfast is delicious, much selections of seasonal fruits, and served by the effort to make it even look prettier. The staffs are very helpful, warm, and always with a smile, very welcoming. We were a little bit concern with the insects but the staffs always set up nice smells aromatic therapy candles in our room at night before we went home to avoid the mosquitos. We even bought those candles for souvenir as it was smell so good! We don’t have any issue with the location as we found the hideous of the villa is worth a view, it is not so far from the main street (less than a minute walk) and surprisingly it was really easy to find. However, you’d better inform Pak Made in advance to arrange the parking if travel by car but we also didn’t find it as an issue as the staffs were really thoughtful and accommodating. I think the staffs are really getting better because of the review so we really recommended this place to travel with groups or family. Looking forward to stay here again anytime soon :)
