  Beautiful luxury hotel, with outstanding staff!

  We had a perfect three night stay at Viceroy Bali. This is a special place and we are so pleased we booked here. Yes the property is beautiful, however it is the staff that really make this place special. All of them are excellent, we felt so welcomed and genuinely care for by every single staff member, they could not do enough for us. The villas are lovely with beautiful views of the valley and jungle, they have everything you could ever want and are immaculately maintained. Also you can drink the water from the tap here (due to the Viceroys water system), something we typically won’t do in Bali, however we did here and had no issues at all.They do have a shuttle in to Ubud, however we chose to not leave the property for our three days, preferring to relax by the amazing pool (that we had to ourselves each day), spend time at the spa and the occasional trip to the gym. They have two restaurants, one more casual with stunning views over the valley where we had breakfast each day and dinner on two occasions. The food here is excellent and the views are outstanding, the octopus salad was my favourite. The other restaurant Aperitif is fine dining and may be the best meal we have ever had. We had the 5 course degustation (it is actually more like 8 courses with all the additional treats you get along the way) and every single course was exceptional with such detail. If you are in the area and love food this is a must book, also the bar next door does excellent cocktails. Overall this a beautiful property with amazing staff and we look forward to returning very soon!   Outstanding stay in luxury paradise

  We arrived from Denpasar, struggling 2 hours through the traffic to arrive at the most beautiful, relaxing and luxurious hotel, an oasis of calm. We immediately received an upgrade to the biggest suite with private infinity pool overlooking the jungle and were guided through it expertly by Chess. Chess also proposed a 4 hour tour of the rice terraces, temple, waterfall and coffee plantation which we agreed on so that our 2 night stay would give us a flavour of Bali. We really enjoyed the short trip and the cultural insight explained by Chess.Meals at Cascades were excellent (the best French toast ever!) and our final night at Aperitif was outstanding.   Just beautiful

  This was our first trip to Bali, and it quickly became clear we had chosen the perfect place to stay. We arrived early, had lunch at Cascades, and were pleasantly surprised to receive an early check‑in. As a Hilton Diamond member, I had booked through the Hilton network, and we were delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival. The upgraded villa was beautiful, very spacious, and came with a lovely private outdoor area.We stayed on the lowest level of the villas, so we used the buggy service regularly to get up to the restaurant — this service was excellent every time. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with high‑quality fresh food and great service. I also loved the thoughtful touches in the room, like the homemade biscuits, crisps, and the regular supply of water and soft drinks.The complimentary shuttle into Ubud was another huge plus. We used it often when heading out for meals or shopping, and Ubud itself is definitely worth exploring.We enjoyed drinks at both Cascades and the Pinstripe Bar, which is connected to the fine‑dining restaurant Aperitif — another beautiful spot. The hotel also offers a number of weekly events. I joined the rice field tour, social hour, and the Balinese dancing evening (where we also had a lovely meal). All were excellent and really added to the overall experience.The entire property is beautifully laid out. There’s a well‑equipped gym and a cinema room, and I enjoyed wandering through the kitchen garden one morning — I was genuinely impressed by how much produce they grow on‑site.The location is ideal for visiting nearby rice terraces, waterfalls, and temples, but it’s also the perfect place to simply relax when you don’t feel like exploring. The staff were consistently helpful, offering suggestions and arranging transport whenever needed. Service throughout the hotel was outstanding — everyone was so attentive.I called this our “paradise place,” and I’m already missing it. We will definitely return.   Just returned home to the UK from a trip to Bali.We recently stayed at the Viceroy Bali for five nights and I can honestly say it is the nicest venue I have ever stayed at.We arrived late evening and the staff at reception were so welcoming.They showed us to our suite and we were absolutely blown away.From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and all the team are onhand to assist in making your stay memorable.The hotel and rooms are immaculate and are of a very high luxurious standardMy son and his girlfriend joined us from Perth and we hadn't seen each other for overa year.
