  Quite a pleasant hotel with the usual services for a Holiday Inn Express. What made it memorable was the staff, especially at the reception desk. Warm friendly face at check in made all the difference. My room was as expected. Shower okay, room okay but bed too soft. The small packets of instant coffee had solidified and housekeeping had not bothered to replace them. Not a good selection of channels on TV. No BBC. Breakfast was typical for Holiday Inn Express, but the coffee was awful!! A bit of a walk to the centre of the city but on holiday, I don't mind that, then I bought a 72 hours bus and tram pass. Very good value. I took the train one day to Colmar and that was a lovely place to wander around for a few hours. What I really appreciated was the warmth of the staff who were so friendly and communicative. Samelia (not sure of spelling) and Robert went out of their way to please. I was even able to have a conversation in Russian with Robert! Thank you.   Enjoyable visit in a very nice hotel

  Excellent visit and a very good hotel. We stayed 4 ppl in the family room, which was divided into 2 comfortable spaces for parents and kids. A shower and a toilet were in between. The room also had a nice terrace. The hotel offers a good breakfast with a decent spread of options. Looking is good, a walking distance from the main area. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.   Two nights in Strasburgo

  Awful hotel, dirty, bad breakfast, undrinkble coffee and milk, bad Quality. My daughter of 2 years old doesn't drink anything and me too. Moquette in the rooms, old hotel even if is an hotel of holiday inn. I' ve traveled a lot in different country but this hotel was very terrible.   Planned short holiday in Alsace ended earlier because we were forced to leave the hotel and cut short our vacation. We wanted and we paid 5 nights stay in this hotel.We booked 1 Queen Standard Room.Instead of nice vacation after three nights, we couldn't stay in this horrific hotel any longer, under inhumane conditions. Air condition doesn´t working, the receptionist offered us a small, ineffective fan! No comment! The room was dusty, dirty, and absolutely unsuitable for anyone with asthma or allergies — a serious health hazard. Totaly diffrent from booked room and description on website.No toilett paper in bathroom! Unbelievable but true! We were forced to take by hand one piece, one rolle of toilett paper from receptionist! Humiliated indeed. See the picture in attachment. Room was not clean, furniture old and dusty. Bathroom dirty and not cleaned. The staff were arrogant and dismissive at first, adding to the overall unpleasant experience. Breakfast was poor and tasteless. For example, if you sleep longer that 7am you will not find almost nothing more than couple of bread pieces, something what is similar to orange juice but it looks completely different, color doesn't look like orange. Coffee was tasteless etc. Awfull. All in one - disastrous! You are dreaming of one city travel with sightseeing, to enjoy a taste of France...and you are forced to shorten your own vacation because of hotel. It was better to cut short our vacation than to catch some kind of illness. Never again!
