  Well presented, clean period property at a great budget price

  Great location with convenient parking. The value is excellent. The interior and decor is well maintained, while still managing to provide a crisp and clean service. Reception when we stayed was contactless, with keys via key box. For us, this worked well given odd arrival and departure times. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space and a large clean bathroom. The linens are not fancy but they are lovely, clean and fresh, so you couldn’t really ask for more especially at the price point. £20 surcharge for staying with a dog is standard for the market and the hotel is nearby green spaces and very walkable, so definitely dog friendly. Would stay again and recommend.

  Nice stay in Beverley, UK at Lairgate hotel

  Lairgate is well located. Hotel works well and there is also nice restaurant available in the evenings (Plates by Oxalis). Rooms are nice and clean. Personnel takes good care of customers. Price gives good value for money. Breakfast is not available in the hotel but close on Saturday market is Central 42 that provides very good breakfast.

  I’ve stayed with the Lairgate Hotel a few times now & everyone who works onsite or remotely have being absolutely lovely, extremely helpful & accommodating. 😊They care so much their guests are happy & have everything they need. 😊The owner contacted me personally & she is a very lovely lady who not only makes sure her Hotel is running correctly, she clearly looks after the People who work for her & her care & passion shows through them. 😊The beds are very comfortable & I have had some of the best nights sleep ever, which is a blessing for me. 😊Hot running Water also. 😊 I’ve stayed in rooms with either a bath or a shower & it’s so lovely to stay somewhere where the Hot Water is Hot. 😊Thank you so much to everyone at the Lairgate Hotel onsite & those who work remotely. 😊They also have a new addition to the Hotel opening soon as they have let the kitchen & restaurant area to a Chef who is opening up soon for Breakfast & some evening meals. I’m sure David, his team & his food will be a great addition & an added attraction to the Hotel. 😊

  We stayed for our anniversary and were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was huge, clean, and quiet. The heavy drapes on the windows worked perfectly to keep the light and the cold out. The bed was comfortable, the bottled water a pleasant addition. The only thing we found an issue with was that the water was excessively hot, and I scalded my hand, so I would suggest that this is adjusted to a safer setting.

  Perfect location for a night in Beverley. Room was clean and comfortable Large room with bed, kettle, iron, TV and private bathroom. No staff on sight, self service check in with key boxes My only complaint would be the heating in on all night and far too hot. I did see a communal living room that can be used by all guests.I would use this hotel again
