    Don’t let the other reviews fool you..MOLD. There is mold throughout the hotel. We smelt it in our first room, asked to be moved and sure enough after the a/c had been running with the window open for ~15minutes there was a pungent smell again.Poor service. The guy at the front desk was playing some game on his phone and would not get off, rolled his eyes when I explained why a pregnant woman should not be in a moldy room before we asked for the swap. We had early checkout for a flight and were told that there was someone staffed there 24/7. Fast forward to now 01:00am–we are going to a different hotel because of this clanging sound that has been going on every 15 seconds (needless to say we cannot sleep). I went to the front desk after no one picked up the phone for 5 minutes to find no one there… upon trying to find the noise for myself I found water damage and mold throughout the ground floor—I can only imagine this problem is systemic. Do not stay here if you value your sleep or overall health.     The room was neat and well-maintained, with beautiful natural lighting. Facilities were complete, the AC worked perfectly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Truly a pleasant stay

    First and foremost I would like you say the staff are lovely, especially the beautiful young lady at reception with the diamond on her tooth.. She is an asset to this hotel. That for me was the only redeeming features, it was so tired and NOTHING like the photo's listed online.. My pillows were stained brown with some blood strains, along with God knows what... The entire place needs renovation. I booked for 3 nights, checked out after one. After some emails I have been promised a full refund.. Agoda was of very little help, this was stressful upsetting, Agoda needs to step and help it's customer's!!!!     Yans House has been a convenient stopover hotel in Kuta on more than one occasion. It’s keenly priced and just a few minutes’ drive to the airport. Useful luggage storage facility if you’re planning on leaving the island and coming back. Breakfast is okay if it’s included in the rate, otherwise there are plenty of options nearby. I’ve stayed in the basic double room and the slightly fancier one with a bath. Frustratingly, the hot water water isn’t always hot and plentiful enough for a bath, and the shower is hand-held or sit-down only, so I’d suggest skipping the upgrade unless you’re desperate for a bath or enjoy sitting in a bath to shower!     Moisture / Mould Issue

    Location is great. HOWEVER i think this hotel has a major MOULD issue.We stayed in the astro turf room, as soon as we walked in we could smell and old moisture smell straight away. The aircon was on blast and you could see droplets of water dripping off. I had to open the window straight away.If you are downstairs in the lobby you can count over 10 aircons in the room operating but the lobby is still very warm.With split system units usually you can see them from the outside of the building ....at this hotel you cannot see. I strongly believe the building has alot of water / mould damage but the hotel has just painted over it.
