  Nice place to relax on the island

  Stayed here for 2 nights on the beginning of December. The rooms were clean, aircon was ok, staff was helpful and informative. At breakfast there was many options to choose from, so the morning started well and with full belly 🙂

  A convenient 5-10 walk from the airport. Includes hot water, simple Indonesian breakfast buffet, spacious room. This is an ok budget option for a couple for around the same price per person as a hostel.

  Very Basic Accommodation

  This accommodation is very basic the rooms are dark and have limited natural light, the bathroom smells very bad and the sink pipes were leaking so water all over the floor. The location is very out of town, it is a 15-20 min walk to get in (they do have a shuttle for 2 hours in the evening but can take a while to arrange pick up so easier / quicker to walk). The good points are that the staff are very friendly and nice and the garden is nice and well maintained so externally it is good. Basically you get what you pay for as it is low cost and low quality. I would also say that a lot of the other places in town seem to be a similar standard as this but more expensive so prob better to be here paying less than being in town paying more for same basic standard.

  We had a two-day stopover at this hotel on our way to the Komodo national park and back. There are just basic amenities, poor breakfast, the pool is not available though presented on Booking.com. I recommend to choose a more comfortable hotel when planning to stay for a longer period in Labuan Bajo.

  If you are a traveller with high expectations then you will be disappointed, but If you are looking for good clean budget accommodation with a delightful garden then look no further. I have read all the negative comments written about this hotel and obviously as I was not present at the time of the visit I am unable to comment. But, I was happy with my stay, a little quirky around the edges perhaps but it suited my needs perfectly. I would encourage the management to spend some of its budget in repairing and bringing up to normal standard some of the room facilities before it becomes too expensive or economical to do so. Taps, mirrors, and bathroom facilities all need attention. To survive in this hotel here are a few hack that I found useful.1. Before you go to bed fill the plastic bucket in the bathroom with water. So if you have a lot of guests all getting up at the same time using the water, the pressure drops to Zero. So the water in the bucket helps with the toilet and washing/Showering.2. Internet is not supposed to work in the rooms. Simple move the desk to the window where there is a signal. 3. If you have just ordered the last Bitung beer in the refrigerator ask them to refill it before you need another beer. Simple. 4. If there are a lot of business guests attending a seminar staying in your room, bet to the Breakfast buffet before 0600 hrs. Otherwise, it is devastated. 5. although not widely advertised, the hotel does have a lunchtime menu. there is a menu in your room and at reception. Order and enjoy. It is really good food. 6. Finally if life is getting to you too much seek out Miss Vera at the reception. She may not be the Manager but she certainly knows how to get things sorted out. Well done Miss Vera. The other staff are a great group of people.
