    Heaven on Gili T doesn't even cover it. Staff were on it before we asked - need a surprise birthday dinner, candlelight on the beach, your name spelt with frangipani petals, the works? Done! The result? Magical! Check out the photos I attached.Kitchen = GENIUS! The cauliflower dish was life-changing. Breakfasts - variety's the word - egg station, wafer station, pastries galore, salamis, cold meats, fresh veggies, tropical fruit... everything „enak sekali” (Indonesian for „delicious”)! Proper respects to the chefs!Like many hospitality venues in Indonesia, Ombak has a trainee system - you will spot the trainees easily as they wear orange shirts. In my opinion, the newbies were killing it with guest service! Amazing cocktails, saved us with a smile more than once. F&B staff are absolute stars - vigilant, pro, and serving us with big smiles. Any request, they were on it!The rooms are HUGE with spectacular (sometimes outdoor) bathrooms. My friend and I started our 14-night stay in a deluxe terrace twin room but later on upgraded to a two-bedroom villa with a pool and a SPACIOUS outdoor area... incredible! The villa area looks like a little town of its own with cute little alleys lined up with beautiful flowering frangipani trees along the path. Highly recommend the upgrade even though it costs more.Housekeeping turned our beds into art galleries on many occasions. Reception's on point too - super welcoming, speaking very good English, and every request dealt with care and utmost urgency. Hotel management responded like pros as well.The gardens are immaculate - an army of gardeners keeping everything trimmed, pruned, and dead flowers gone. Incredible attention to detail. Well done, green fingers!Ombak’ pool is an absolute winner - massive, with crystal clear water, and overlooking the beach and the sea. The swim-up bar staff make fantastic cocktails and can deliver your lunch to you while you are chilling on your lounge chair.And the evening restaurant on the beach is quite something, too! It offers BBQ meats, fish, seafood... the vibe was amazing. You don’t have to wear your shoes while dining there as your feet are literally in the sand - talk about a really „grounding” experience here!Ombak’s beach area's got that wow factor - a swing for sunset photos, bean bags for cocktail sips, and the sunsets? Spec-tac-ular! On a clear day, you can see Bali's Mount Agung rising up... contrast with the ocean and crystal clear sea = stunner. Don't miss the happy hour deals on cocktails at sunset!Also, for those sporty people - Ombak has got a brand new padel court and tennis courts. I didn’t try them myself but I noticed they were quite popular.Another convenience Ombak offers is bikes for rent. You can a bike for a small fee and cruise the island.But honestly, it was the overall vibe at the hotel which made me switch to one thousand percent holiday mode, even when it was pouring rain - life was good. I’m thinking - if you don't stay here, are you even Gili-ing? ?? Just book it.P.S. This is my second stay... I love it so much I keep coming back. Already looking forward to my next! Never disappointed.

    We stayed at 2 bedrom pool villa in December. The rooms are nice and cozy. Nothing to complain about. Vegetarian food we have mixed reviews. Some dishes were excellent some were very average. Staff at reception could be more humble and welcoming.

    Great experience in the hotel. The room was beautiful, the atmosphere around swimming pool is great. Thank you Kadek and all the team for your warm welcoming and your smiles. Tips: there are alternatives to the horse cars, as we are very concerned by animals care, we found bike drivers to drive us to and back from the hotel. You can also donate to the ong helping to improve horses conditions at Gili.

    We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On the positive side, it is located away from the busy part of Gili. It’s better to get there by horse cart or by renting a bicycle from the hotel. The overall quality of the hotel is average. The service and housekeeping were very good. Breakfast was weak, with limited options and not very tasty.
