    False advertising, facilities not as described

    I had to cancel my booking for this hotel because the situation was so ridiculous. I booked this because it was affordable, had breakfast and the rooms had good reviews. The issue was that on their website and on Booking.com, it says they have a "shuttle bus" and I was expecting to pay no more than 30 euros total for the service (they are usually cheaper than that). Instead, this turned out to be a lie and there is no shuttle bus service. You book a taxi which is more expensive than the room itself. While there are technically other ways to get to the hotel, this was a major selling point for me and it just wasn't true. I then sent an email and the hotel refused to acknowledge this mistake, and also refused to give a refund despite the false advertising. Booking.com has also been very unhelpful. I don't recommend this. I've attached screenshots of the falsely advertised 'shuttle' services in case things change all of a sudden.

    Far away location and backdate rooms

    will advise not to visit the town Treviolo as it got nothing to offer. The town turn to zombie land after 5 pm. The town consist of 2 pizza shop one of which called Robi pizza ,1 bar and also 2 other shop. This is not a tourist townThe main town Bergamo is 20 minutes y taxi and 1.25 hour by foot. Every time you get taxi it will cost you €34 basically €68 in one day. furthermore taxi meters start at between €14-€15 before you even in taxi which is very strange for any countries never mind taxi.The hotel is very much backdated need serious renovations. Shower was broken water was splashing everywhere and floor was soaked. The hotel don’t provide room service so basically after 9 pm if you are hungry you will be starving as no shop will be open . we are from uk 🇬🇧 will never advise some one to come for a holiday. lesson well learned .     50 Euro night hotel, close to BERGAMO you can’t ask more, except to maintain the structure better: old ness is everywhere and is permeating you. The good service is balancing it, that’s why I gave 2 instead of 1

    Pleasantly surprised by the very good service and accommodation at Art & Hotel Treviolo for the price paid. A little bit tricky to locate but was only 7km from the airport. Excellent value for the price we paid. Good minibar, hot showers with good pressure. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Matteo assisted us with the car rental return. Highly recommended for those catching an early flight and want to be near the airport.

    Mist of 3* hotels in Italy are horror.This one surprised us! Except the fact that the rooms must be painted and get that rubbish carpet off the floor, the rest was great! God and complete breakfast for the price we payed.The stuff where all very kind and smiling all the time.And what I liked most was that was all very clean.So congratulations to that girls from cleaning departament. :) It's a hotel that I would love go go back sometime.Felt just like home :)
