    Terrible communication and poor management.

    The contact details provided are incorrect, so I had to spend a lot of time trying to track down the property just to get the check-in instructions. There is no reception or staff on site, and communication is extremely slow or nonexistent.Check-in is unnecessarily complicated, and if something goes wrong, you are completely on your own.When I arrived, the elevator was out of order and there was no prior warning. The room is on the 4th floor, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs.To make things worse, the situation was unsafe. While going up the stairs, the cleaning staff were throwing heavy bags of linens down the staircase, which could easily have caused an accident.I also sent a message via WhatsApp asking about the elevator and never received any reply.Overall, the lack of communication, incorrect information, and safety issues make this a very frustrating experience.The only positive is that the room itself is modern, clean, and in a very good central location, but trust me, it's not worth-it.

    Awful customer service! Starting with the self check-in - as I booked three rooms, they somehow messed it up in their system and provided check-in details only for one room. It costed me 40 min on the phone on the day of arrival, as apparently no one attends to emails or Booking.com messages after 5pm or in the weekend, to finally get the check-in details for all three rooms. Then on the third night of our stay the heating in the whole building went off. As there is no one on site, this meant once again doing the whole phone business plus several follow ups until someone finally showed up. An hour after they fixed it. the AC and the warm water were gone again. By that time it was already 11pm and we were really not in a mood to spend another hour on the phone, so went to bed in a cold room after a cold shower. Unpleasant is an understatement! With subzero outdoor temperatures, it was a freezing night. The next morning I was on the phone once again. Eventually they finally fixed the problem, but no one ever called us proactively to provide an update, check how we were doing or apologize. On the final day of our stay, they just called to ask not to submit a negative review, because we would be compensated for all the issues we had. Surely enough, we never heard from them again, nore were we compensated in any way. So level of service really, really low. Do yourselves a favor and book somewhere else.

    We arrived late on a Friday night to find lift broken. We phoned and were told nothing could be done till Monday! Another number actually laughed.We are pensioners and I am waiting for a knee replacement and my husband has back problems. We booked because it was central and accessible apparently. We had to get help to get up the 80+ stone steps to the 4th floor. It was even more dangerous to come down so we stayed in room with no dinner till next day. Room was very small for a deluxe balcony. Only 2 drinks in room and one loo roll, no toiletries as shownWe rang next day and were told it couldn't be fixed till Monday. We were really stuck and they couldn't have cared less With all the accommodation this company have around bergamo I don't believe they couldn't have moved us. We struggled up and down once day unable to go back for a rest or change for dinner in the evening. The lift was not fixed Monday or Tuesday morning!I have since emailed them 4 times and just got fobbed off.Absolutely disgusting customer service Booking.com gave us a small recompense as they didn't bother

    We recently stayed in the Bergamo inn and had a fantastic stay. Upon paying, we were sent the code to get into the building and into the room. This was really straightforward and simple - we had no issues whatsoever. The room was modern but characterful, and also clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was really good. Hairdryer is included, but no iron. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, but you are only given 2 pods per day. You also have to drink out of paper cups, which weren’t always replaced so they went a bit floppy! There is also a kettle but ours didn’t work. These issues were minor however and we still felt the room was great value.The best thing about this hotel is the location - you walk out the front door and are in a lovely part of bergamo - perfect for bars, restaurants and shopping. There are buses nearby and the train station is only a 15 minute walk away.We would definitely stay again!

    There is no front desk and no staff on-site. This is not mentioned on their booking page on any web sites. They have a very complicated check-in process that took 45 minutes for us to get inside the hotel, in a thunderstorm. Do NOT book this hotel. The storm flooded the balcony which ran water into the room, soaking the curtains and pooling beside the bed. If another guest hadn't happened to come back to enter the hotel as we were trying to get in, we wouldn't have known the process for checking in. If you do not travel with an eSim or home cell provider service, you will NOT be able to check into this hotel. It did not say there was no staff on site until AFTER we booked it. Terrible lack of comunication.
