Brilliant base for a week exploring Lombardy

Fantastic hotel with a great location - 9 minute walk to train station and same in opposite direction to the funicular. Superior room was modern, spotless and spacious. View was amazing and window was sound proof. Staff were great and breakfast good everyday. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel in the lower town of Bergamo, walking distance from the train station.Staff was friendly and helpfull.The room was fantastic: huge, clean and having all the needed facilities.This was our 2nd stay here and I am glad that they kept their high standards.

We were greeted by Elisabetta when we checked in and she was so warm & friendly. We were lucky to get to check in right away. The hotel is in the lower town which was useful and not full of tourists. Good location - walk from train station. We had a corner room w good beds, bathroom, WiFi that works and a window that opened (yay) as the room was quite warm. Had a drink in the bar one night and Christine was so friendly. Lots of great snacks to go with the drinks. Grazie.

The hotel Feels a little old bit still gold. A little bit of dusting needed here and there and my air conditioner had issues. But it was fixed promptly by the excellent staff. In the reception they are friendly and speak decent English. The breakfast is typical Italian and rather meager but coffee of course good. Ordered pizza to my room as well as room service. All good. And clean bathroom and comfy enough bed. Stayed here on three separate occasions. Recommend it.

What a find!

What a wonderful hotel! Centrally located, we walked with our luggage from the train station. It is a block from the pedestrian mall, 2 blocks from the renaissance square of lower town, Donazetti theatre is across the street. More importantly, the staff here was warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Martina who helped us with airport transfers and taxi and our many questions. Our room was recently remodeled and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making Bergamo on of our favorite places during our trip!
