Nice apartment but insufficiently equipped

Nice apartment in the central location in Citta Alta but it lacked many things which were listed in the reservation, like for ex. microwave, water kettle, bath tub and balcony. Kitchen also lacked several essential items ie kitchen towel, hot pods etc. In the apartment there was no place to hang outdoors clothing or bags. Just the bedroom’s wardrobe.

We stayed here for 3 nights . We had room on ground level. It was spacious and clean. It was old fashioned but wasn’t disappointed at all. Host was helpful and polite. Bed was comfortable. Room had fridge kettle and a microwave for use. We paid for breakfast. This was simple a croissant a yoghurt small bread rolls and coffee. It was satisfactory as long as you weren’t expecting anything too grand . It was a fantastic location situated right in the heart of Citti Alta. Right next to the shops and restaurants.The room was well heated for the cold weather. A pure gem easy to recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Mauro`s Casa in Via Mario Lupo. He proved to be very helpful and informing which helped making our stay in Bergamo a pure delight. The rooms are spacious, clean and withdrawn from street noise. Quiet, authentic, perfect location and very helpful host

GianMauro is the kindest host you can imagine, very attentive to his guests wishes. Perfect location in Citta Alta, just off the Piazza Vecchia. This B&B is an authentic Italian experience, rooms of varying sizes situated off a common internal courtyard and with a charming garden on the third level where you can enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon postcard writing or an evening glass of wine (you can bring your own, no room service needed). Comfortable beds and silent nights mean you will sleep peacefully, awakening to the chimes of the morning church bells. I have stayed here a number of times and am always longing to return. An amazing place to stay

What a fantastic place to stay in Bergamo. You are literally next door to the cathedral and the amazing basilica di Santa Maria. The most impressive church I have ever visited. Accommodation was brilliant with a real historic feeling. The breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. Provides a great start to the day. Gian the host and owner was exceptional and could not be any more helpful and knowledgeable. A great few days stay and although our visit to Bergamo was in relation to football I would without doubt visit the city again and book here as well.
