    Lovely hotel- shame the pool use is extra

    Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. I had booked this hotel feeling like it was good value barring in mins it had a pool. I was very disappointed to then hear that if we wanted to use the poo we would need pay another 15€ per person for a 2 hour slot. Lovely as it is, I felt that’s this no longer offered good value and would not chose this hotel for a return trip toImola only on that basis

    The breakfast staff is very rude and they acted like they really did not wanted to work, when we asked for another cup of cappuccino they seemed irritated. The hotel is clean and the staff in the restaurant is very energetic. Parking garage is a little dark so if you are there alone it is not safe. The restaurant has a great variety of food.

    I would give this a hotel a 4-star normally, can't complain about something, the only thing is that I guess the public areas need a bit of renovation. I don't consider myself to be fussy about things though and don't mind about bits and pieces that could be better in my opinion wherever I go.I gave it 5-stars though because:* The room was spatious and renovated* The staff were really friendlyIf I could give it a 10star I would.. for the restaurant. We ordered at almost 11pm, as soon as we went up to room and I will only say that the food was FANTASTIC by all means. Certainly worth the money! (Could tell from the smell)The next morning a really friendly lady was waiting for us in the breakfast room (one of the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel). Thank you all! We hope to visit again!

    Great Hotel for a weekend break

    I stopped here whilst attending a motorcycling event in Imola. The staff were friendly and attentive and the rooms spacious and clean. the restaurant has a good menu which is not overpriced. The breakfast buffet includes both hot and cold with hams, cheeses, fruit and freshly baked pastries. Parking is easy and free. Looking forward to returning next year.

    A wonderful staff welcomed us for our one night in Imola. Our room was clean and nicely appointed We were traveling with our little dog and she was welcomed as well with her own bowls! We’d highly recommend The Hotel Donatello for a stay of any length while in Imola
