    This is such a lovely hotel. Friendly staff who were always happy to help and laid a table for me downstairs every day because I use a wheelchair and couldn't get to the breakfast tables upstairs. Delicious breakfast and fully accessible room. Great location slightly off the tourist beaten track but still only a short walk to the centre and plenty of nice bars and restaurants. Perfect if you want a hotel with a bit more character than the big chains.

    The only positives I will say are that the location is good for being close to the city centre, and the room sizes are good.However, the websites photos of the rooms are very misleading. The rooms are in desperate need of a refresh. Several light fittings in my room were broken, walls had bits missing and the shower was damaged. One night I was there, another guest who I didn’t know was able to use their key to get into my room. This was completely unacceptable and I felt incredibly unsafe as a young woman on her own. The walls were also incredibly thin and I could hear every word from the room next to mine. The breakfast was also a letdown, not too much options and it wasn’t explained to us by the staff that we could request hot food to be made such as eggs. I would not rate this hotel a 4 star hotel and will not be coming back here.

    Very cute converted convent

    Cute boutique hotel that was a convent for centuries. Stayed here because it's near where our daughter lives while studying in Bologna. A little bit of a walk from the Piazza Maggiore, but dining close by and a supermarket next door. Rooms are adequate and comfortable and a good value for the area. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is great.

    Preferring small, unusual hotels we were not disappointed with our stay. Comfortable, interesting room, tasty breakfast and professional, friendly staff who quickly sorted out any problems that occurred, apart from the thundery showers! Would highly recommend!

    Just a fantastic hotel. Loved my stay here. If you’re the type who appreciates a quiet less touristy location with an authentic feel then this place is perfect. Very homey! The people working there are amazing. I wish I could name all. Pietro is so attentive and diligent. Makes the place even more special.
