  Perfect apartment, calm area and no traffic noise - if you need anything the host will quickly reply, and help with any request. The check in and out was also very flexible and easy. Would definitely recommend this apartment to any future travelers!

  Nice stay! Felt welcomed and surely I'll come back. The location is perfect as you can quickly reach the city center. Plus, there are so many nice things to see nearby and high quality restaurants too

  Santo Stefano was the perfect place for a short stay in Bologna. The rooms were well appointed and the included breakfast was good. It was good that the hotel had an elevator (even a slow one) and the hotel was on the 4th floor. Even though the hotel was not in the center, it was walkable to Piazza Maggiore and there were restaurants close by.

  Bad experience in Santo Stefano Apartments Bologna

  We have booked this place through their website and we were satisfied from the general information that we got online.To be honest it was in a very good locations.Arriving at the property we noticed that there were construction works ongoing !!! Early in the morning the noise was very loud and it was impossible to sleep. Imagine a family with 2 young children that has to wake up from that noise. The second and the biggest delusion was the apartment itself. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A PLACE SO DIRTY! The floor was so dirty like it has months without washing. Tested with a paper tissue… it become brown dark, disgusting.The beds were arranged with some old sheets and a couple of duvet (smelly) that was hard to sleep.Very old towels, from white they were close to grey, and with an unpleasant smell.The apartment itself was very old in furniture and equipment.Not mentioning that there was zero acoustic isolation. You can feel the next door apartment chats like they were in your room, and the road noise was crazy if your apartment with face the road.Very poor experience Giuseppe degli Azzoni Avogadro Malvasia, Direttore generale at Santo Stefano Apartments, responded to this review Hello Thank for your feedback and sorry for your experience. But Let me clarify below :-The apartment has been renewed in 2008 it’s not old. It features all marbled bathroom marbled floor and all the furniture is Up to date included the kitchen -We check every day the cleaning of our team and I strongly don’t think is so “unclean” as you told in your review. We wash every day the floor using three types of detergents. We check every time as well. You didn’t contact us or told us nothing about it…-Our sheets are furnished by the best laundry in the city are not Old and are completely new. Again you could have contact us and we’ll solved your issue aniway. It’s all sanitizied, and the laundry (Lif) has got the best reputation in the area and in the region. -For what it concerns the works there were building works in the house nearby only for a morning. They ended up. Again we have received no message or advise for the guest otherwise we could have helped him out.We don’t like people unhappy at our properties but I am personally not happy when suddenly all the problems are seen only in review without evening a message off complaint. In this situation we could only sorry again aniway, and again as told all this issue could have been solved with a WhatsApp message ThanksGiuseppe Director
