    Rooms are absolutely disgusting, check in time 14:00 we only managed to get into the rooms at 16:30 receptionist unfriendly and rude, grounds are unkempt. Wall in the room has mold on it and used towels lying Under the basin. I advise you not to make use of this hotel.

    If I coud give 0 stars I would. The photos completely mispresent the hotel - it is deserted, reception is locked, grounds terrible, broken windows etc. Guests are asked to check in to the Mercure (opposite- very tired but clean and habitated) and if you don't want to stay at the Baia del Sole they offer you a discounted rate to stay at the Mercure. DON'T book this hotel - it's a disaster. We took these photos of the hotel in August 2023.

    Several issues with this hotel. First of all ....town is not equipped to handle some days of 10,000 cruise ship passengers in and out. Taxis are scarce to anywhere except port. Hotel is 2.5 km walk from train, which is fine but hard to navigate with luggage. Hotel is extremely dated and not well kept. Go to the hotel across the street for check in and any issues. Decent wifi. Swimming pool under construction. Room dusty and dated. Terrace nice with exactly one cheap chair to sit in.

    We booked two rooms on-line and when we arrived at Baia the reception was closed with a notice on the door to go to the Mercure reception across the road. We were allocated our two rooms, but when we entered, one did not have curtains a chair or drinking cups, the other had no batteries in the remote for the air-conditioner and apparently, none of the TV's in the clock were working. We know it is the end of the season, but there were quite a few guests staying at the hotel, so surely they could have made more of an effort. No-one was interested in fixing the problems, We ate at the hotel as we could not be bothered going out as we had had a long drive there, the service was very slow, one poor chap sat along side us and did not even get a menu to look at for three quarters of an hour!!!! The food was only so-so too, which we had to go to the Mercure for, including breakfast. To add to it all, the fire alarm went off at 4am, which did not make matters any better. Would not stay there again.

    I was surprised by the offer of this hotel by the sea. The rooms are spacious with a nice view. Nearby are tennis courts, a fitness lounge, and a swimming pool. The breakfast is outstanding and offers many options. WiFi connection is ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
