    Our stay at La Casa Sul Mare was AMAZING!! If I could give 100 stars I would! Loris and Ambra were the nicest of people and so very helpful! Before we arrived I asked if they could arrange for a special bouquet of flowers to be in the room as a surprise for myMom (who I was traveling with) and not only were they helpful in doing that for me, the flowers they arranged were stunning!! They were so helpful in recommendations of things to do in their beautiful city and the food that they provided for breakfast and snacks throughout the day were delicious and plentiful! We loved the ponza room (in our opinion the best room as it is spacious, clean (like the the rest of the rooms and property) and the balcony view was stunning with a big private bathroom!! We loved everything about our stay and Loris and Ambra really make you feel like family and you’re staying at your home away from home! We stayed before and after our cruise and if you can, have Loris arrange your car service to and from the airport and cruise ship! Everything was seamless and perfect!! We will always stay here when we come back! Thank you La Casa Sul Mare for Making our special mother and daughter trip amazing and so special! You are truly the BEST!!!!

    Perfect Overnight Stay

    Loris and Ambra, are the most perfect hosts, welcoming us into their beautiful accommodation with such grace and care. Loris helped get our bags up some steps and into the elevator. The balcony room was immaculate with a very modern shower room. Air con and the prettiest balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast was lovely and we met some of the other guests at breakfast who were also on our cruise.Loris organised a car to take us to the port in the morning and waited with us till it arrived. A car can also be booked to collect you from the airport to Casa Sul Mare, which will take all the hassle out of navigating the very busy airport. We were very well looked after and there is an honesty bar for wine, beer and soft drinks, and the home made pistachio cake made by Loris's mama was delicious! This luxury B&B is fully booked for a reason.... book early, you will not be disappointed.

    We stayed at La Casa Sul Mare on the night before our cruise ship departure and we could hardly have been made more welcome. The accommodations are top notch and the location is perfect. The hosts, Loris & Ambra are a delight. They have provided so many details to make guests feel at home. Loris even came to meet us at the station. If you are thinking of staying in Civitavecchia, we thoroughly recommend La Casa sul Mare. You won't be disappointed.Thank you Loris & Ambre for a wonderful stay!!P.S. We did not find the "noisy bar" (mentioned by a previous reviewer) to be any problem. We are both quite noise averse and our room was right above the bar but we heard practically no noise from the bar during our stay.

    What a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I were greeted downstairs by the owner Loris . He greeted us as if we were very special guests. Loris carried our bags for us! The entire space was beautifully designed . Fruit ,water, coffee and yummy pastries were there as needed. Ambra showed us around so that we knew how to access anything we needed in the common space and our room. She also helped us by suggesting wonderful restaurants over looking the Sea to eat at.Our room overlooked the street below and the stunning Mediterranean .Yet with special shade it was very quiet.Breakfast the next morning was more than you could want too.All in all it was a fantastic place to stay and we treated like family..
