    Many thanks, loved it

    rating16 Mar 2026

Excellent stay. Very friendly staff all round. Approachable, Bit of banter and had Italian lesson with Batman on a nighttime (1 sentence a night lol)Food more than acceptable, good breakfast choice, something for all at dinner time. Ski room fine, as usual with all boot rooms, they do get busy but a bit of patience and away we go. We used swimming pool twice, free to use but do need caps. Although can swim if you have a massive beard.. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Has gym sauna etc but these are payable extra. Train stops outside and an easy 5 mins into town. Last bus back a bit early but a 20-25 mins into town walk back is easy enough (couple of bars on way back if needed 🍺)Ski lift is 195 paces away from front of hotel… Would I stay again? Definitely.A big thanks to all the staff.

Beyond the winning location. The staff is lovely. Although there were some misunderstandings at the beginning of the stay. The staff was patient and always ready and able to help.

    Winter ski stay

    rating07 Feb 2026

The Golf Hotel Folgaria offers excellent access to the ski slopes, which is a huge advantage, especially in winter. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with daily housekeeping ensuring a high level of cleanliness throughout the stay. Both breakfasts and dinners are very good, with well-prepared and varied dishes, although drinks at dinner are charged separately. The service in both the bar and the restaurant is fantastic, with friendly and attentive staff. While the common areas could benefit from some renovation, the hotel still has its own charm and a pleasant atmosphere overall.

Don’t stay here if you want to use the sauna each night, but a nice hotel otherwise

    rating01 Feb 2026

The best thing about this hotel for skiing is the location, it’s right opposite the chairlifts. It is also directly opposite the ski pass kiosk and the ski rental shop is next door. The only real downside to it is the high cost to use the sauna. It is 25 euros per person per 2 hours, so for a couple, if we had wanted to use the sauna each evening after skiing, it would have cost 300 euros for the week, which is ridiculous. If using the sauna is important to you, and I know it isn’t for everyone, it is probably best to stay somewhere else. The swimming pool is free. The place generally is cosy and the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the waiting staff. Our waitress was Nicoletta, who was lovely. The rooms are basic but very clean and warm, with comfy beds, clean bathroom and plenty of storage. The housekeeping staff keep everything very nice, and while it’s true that they don’t automatically replenish the toiletries, if you ask they are very generous with them. The skiing itself is ok, but not the easiest to work out. All I would say is, get the piste map from the ski pass kiosk that has the arrows on it, as the one posted online is misleading and doesn’t have the arrows of slope direction on it. It looks like you can ski from the top to the bottom, but you can’t - it’s a snakes and ladders system. Make a note of the chairlifts and runs you need to take to get home, as there are not many signposts and they aren’t very clear. If you ski over to the passo Coe it will take around an hour to get back to the hotel, and the lifts close at 4:45, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get the last travelator back, otherwise you will be stuck (or you will have to hike up the hill). You can get the bus or train at fondo grande but the last bus is 4:12. If you miss it you can get the bus into Folgaria and then the train (at the bottom of the high street) out to the golf hotel, and the last train is around 6pm.The food is wonderful, really imaginative, tasty and plentiful. The breakfast offering is varied with 4 different types of croissants, other pastries and cakes, fruit, yoghurt, meats and cheeses, toast, different breads, boiled eggs (although these could potentially be sent to Ukraine to use as ammo), scrambled eggs and the european version of bacon and sausage (ie warmed up ham and smoked hot dogs). The coffee is fabulous, but don’t use the machine (it’s not good), ask your waiter instead. If you ask for ‘coffee’ you will get espresso, but if you ask for americano that will get you a long black coffee. They will only bring milk if you ask for it.For dinner there is a salad and veg buffet, and then the menu has 3 different options each for first course, second course and dessert. The chef isn’t afraid to try different things so the food is very good. If you struggle there is always pasta, sauce and Parmesan on the veg buffet. We wouldn’t stay here again just because of the short ski runs and the astronomically high cost of the sauna, but it really was a lovely hotel otherwise.

    Great hotel, perfect location

    rating14 Jan 2023

We really had a great experience at this hotel. The food was excellent and the staff were amazing. Particular mention to Frederika, Imma, lorenzo and Guisseppe. The location was perfect at the bottom of the slope and beside the ski rental and ski pass venues. Had a lovely massage at the spa and would highly recommend this venue especially for families.
