This charming city hotel enjoys an excellent location on the 1st floor of a historic building on Via dei Calzaiuoli, the city centre's main street. Just 150 metres from the city's world-famous Duomo and 400 metres from the superb Uffizi gallery, the hotel has a great location for exploring all that Florence has to offer. Shopping venues, restaurant, bars and the Duomo Square bus station can be found right on the hotel’s doorstep, while Santa Maria train station is just a 7-minute walk away. Other places of interest, such as the Piazza della Repubblica, Ponte Vecchio and the Accademia Museum, are all in the immediate vicitinity, as is the Arno River. Peretola Airport, Florence is 6 km from the hotel and Galileo Galilei Airport, Pisa is 82 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 3 single rooms and 11 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Location is superb! Viewed the iconic Easter Sunday procession. All the staff, from 24hrs reception staff, breakfast staff, housekeeping staff were professional and cheerful, attending to every needs. Rooms were superbly cleaned every day. First floor outdoor lounge area provided a chill respite area after long days of walk in the city.

    From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location couldn't have been better for sightseeing in Florence—situated on Via Dei Calzaiuoli, one of the city's main streets, right next to the Duomo. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence looking for convenience, comfort, and exceptional service.

    I was happy with this place. Great location. Ok breakfast, friendly staff. Quiet, clean room, beautiful courtyard just outside our room. I would stay here again.

    ‼️Terrible! DON'T GO! It's the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen in my life! Everything is full of dust...The toilet stinks 🤢 and the shower gets full of water because it's clogged... I really had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. For the price I paid I expected a clean room!!!!! If I wanted to sleep in the dirt I would rest in the street!!!!!! 😡😡 DON'T GO!!

    The hotel is in an excellent location, and unfortunately that is where the positives end. The overall standard feels far below what should be expected, particularly in terms of service. Our experience was significantly affected by the receptionist, Valentina. Her attitude was consistently unhelpful and dismissive. When we requested an ironing board, we were initially told to come to reception to collect one. However, when we followed up, she told me straight to my face “This is not a 6-star hotel, so we don’t have it,” which was both contradictory and extremely rude. In addition, despite having the “Do Not Disturb” sign clearly displayed on our door, she knocked to ask whether we wanted the room cleaned. When I pointed out the sign, the response was again rude . It is unfortunate that one staff member’s behaviour can negatively impact the overall reputation of a hotel, but in this case, that was our experience. Professionalism and basic courtesy are essential in hospitality, and sadly, they were lacking here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel due to the above and I would recommend for hotel to remove her from the role.
