  Satisfying stay

  I really enjoyed this hotel and considered my stay a good. The hotel is not much to look at from the outside but the inside shines. It appears rooms have been recently renovated to a more modern look. It has a good location about 20 minutes walk from the old port. Also has an adequate continental breakfast which was a nice addition. I highly recommend.

  I stayed for one night and it was pretty decent. The staff was helpful and the price was alright for the conditions. The only downside was that the rooms were very loud and I had trouble sleeping during the night. Other than that, it’s ok for a short stay in Genoa.

  Basic hotel with basic amenities. Booked this hotel because it had free parking but when we got there they didn't have space for us! Parked about a 10 minute walk away which worked out to about €12 using the EasyPark app. About a 20 minute walk to the centre, this was fine for us but others may be looking for something closer. Hotel was nice and quiet at night.

  Budget hotel in a bad location for tourists

  We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while traveling in Italy, during our stop in Genova (which, by the way, in retrospect, we wish we skipped and spent more time in Verona instead…) The hotel is located in a residential apartment building with rooms on the first floor on one side and the fifth floor (partially) on the other side of the building (so called “Annex”). We stayed in the Annex, had a rental car and needed parking.Here are pros and cons, as we saw it:Pros - As limited and small (and hard to get in/out) as it was, there was indeed parking available. The receptionist at the hotel during the check-in time barely spoke English but was nice and welcoming (while the gentleman next day spoke excellent English but couldn’t care less about his customers). Breakfast (very basic) included in the room rate. The room (in the Annex) was of fare size with a quite spacious bathroom. If you (for whatever reason) get stuck with this hotel, and are a tourist, the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is about 15 min walking distance away.Cons – The residential area around the hotel was not attractive to tourists, dirty and stinky. The hotel is located very far from the city center and all tourist attractions. Almost every restaurant and/or tavern in this neighborhood opens for dinner after 7 pm or 7:30 pm so plan accordingly if you’re looking for early afternoon drinks or meal. Overall, mostly because of its location, we didn’t like the hotel, won’t stay there (if we can help it) and will not recommend it to others.

  Free parking, but bad pillows

  Parking and breakfast are free. It's a 15 minute walk to the city of you are good in shape.The room was really fusty and the pillows were like stones, but the room was clean. Wouldn't stay here more than one night.
