Location

Facility

223 rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock.     Bizarre? Good? Freezy?

    Well it's the only hotel in Gerona which has a decent sized swimming pool. So it's filled with kids. There's a play tent in the lobby and kids riding up and down madly in the lift. Who doesn't love that? The rooms are stupidly big. No doubt great if you have lots of kids. The AC is remarkably good. I've been in hotels costing four times more with AC that doesn't work - Le Touquet WM comes to mind. This is so good. Well too good. I was too tired to work it out and I was a bit freezy. Breakfast also bizarre. Kids and pink donuts and chocolate cake? Go for it! Theres no toaster??!! But a really good selection of seeds - which I love. They added charges on at the end which made me think I should have gone via a booking site I normally use. But let's not be grumpy. I doubt the difference was that much.

    Comfortable hotel with nice and professional staff

    I'm at this hotel almost every second week for 3 to 4 nights.Hotel room are spacious, clean and comfortable.Christian and his staff are always very polite, nice and efficient.Good choice for breakfast and in the evening after a long and busy day the in-house restaurant is a good alternative.Staff at the front desk is always supportive and welcome you with a smile.It is always a pleasure to come back.

    No go Hotel awful management

    This hotel is no go at all don’t waste your money . The management ripped me off with my reservations, I was not able to travel the date of reservations bc airline canceled a trip and I canceled the hotel within one hour after booking with Expedia and they refused to give a refund however I decided to travel a day after and they canceled my reservations andirons me no booking and no refund ???? They are thief’s and not Trusted people and lack of ethics . I spoke with the manager but he was not helpful at all. What a shame to have Accor name and have this manger in such a hotel … shame only

    Great value, clean, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic place for staying with a small child

    A great family friendly hotel! Staff were very helpful and thoughtful - I was travelling on my own to visit family with a small child and they very kindly upgraded me (without me asking as I would just expect the room I paid for). The room was very clean, and the daily service of the room was excellent too. Breakfast did get a bit crowded on a couple of days but they opened another section the following day to cater to the extra numbers. Pool was great, lovely and clean and nice big towels provided. A really great spot for staying close to the city with a small child who can only manage 1/2 day adventures. My daughter and I LOVED this hotel and thought it was great value!

    Terrible at best

    We stayed/still stay by the time of this review, in August 2023. Experience has been terrible at best, they only got poor because they have been lifted by the quality of the reception staff and breakfast team. Other than that they would have been less then terrible. Rooms: we got a room at second floor, at the end of the corridor. The carpet was supposed to be brown, it is slowly turning into black, definitely not clean. Room antique, maybe in 1980ies would have been ok but in 2023 it is not. We even found a very dirty towel, which I have attached a picture. Bathroom has a very old and stained linoleum. Noise: the windows are not insulated and the noise keeps on getting in through the night, scooters, trains and even drunk people. Staff looks very friendly and they do speak English and Italian, very limited in French though. Parking : please be AWARE, parking is 8 euro a night, but they have been cases when they have been breaking cars. If something like that happens you are told that the cameras are not working.
