    The room is outdated. The aircon was not working and there was a fan in the room in 35 degrees. The room smelt musty and looked dingy. Add to this the fact that there is no lift and this is not a good experience.     Extremely Dissapointing Stay

    This was overall a dissapointing stay, the room was okay, but it had a unpleasant smell and the air-conditioning machine did not work at all and made a lot of noise, the entirety of our stay the room did not get below 29°C at all, maintenance did not fix. The staff then brought a fan much later after multiple trips to reception and calling reception from the room. Note: there is no lift, only stairs so if you struggle with stairs or have heavy bags this isn't the place for you. The breakfast was pretty good considering the rest of the hotel with a large variety of options with hot food and pastries. The staff when we checked out was very rude, we asked if we would receive any compensation for our aircon not working and she became extremely defensive and not helpful at all and claimed it was not her problem. The location is good near the station (Piazza Principe), which is the only good point of this hotel. Overall staff were rude and experience was poor, would not stay here again ever. I expect a partial refund at least!! However, there is the possibility of using an elevator via a secondary entrance, and our staff is always happy to assist with luggage upon request.We sincerely apologize for the malfunctioning of the air conditioning. Unfortunately, the issue was due to a central system failure that affected several rooms and could not be resolved quickly. Where possible, fans were provided by reception to help alleviate the discomfort. In recognition of the inconvenience, breakfast was offered to affected guests, and we kindly asked them to submit any compensation requests directly through the booking site used to make the reservation. Our reception team did their best to assist and accommodate all requests during this time.We are sorry you perceived the check-out interaction as rude—this is certainly not the standard of service we strive to maintain.     Not a great place for us seniors.

    The room itself is ok to sleep. The reception was pleasant not overly friendly. We are seniors with one heavy bag and the stairs were difficult for us. It would have been nice if they had someone to help us. Our biggest problem was that the Internet was so slow we couldn't get on. When I phoned they were unapologetic and said they had lots of people staying there. For me, that is not a good excuse. In this day and age everyone should have high speed. There also was no English language tv. So when we got back to our room there was not much for us to do. This may not be a problem for most but as seniors we do spend a great deal of time in our room to relax. The room was comfortable but not all the outlets worked.     Nice hotel in the centre of Genoa

    Very nice hotel 500mt from Genova Piazza Principe railstation. Spacious room, very nice breakfast room (nice fresco on the ceiling ) . Good breakfast (only lack is the cappuccino self made with the automatic café machine).Staff very kind. Very good experience with an accessible price.     We stayed at this hotel. I made the reservation on the hotel's website for a double matrimonial room. At the reception we were given a small room, with a double bed and a single bed, very small, with a view to the back and in which it smelled very bad. I went to the reception and requested the room I booked, the comfort double.We received the paid room but we were told why the 3rd bed in the room bothers us. Now let me tell you about the accommodation. The room needs renovation, in fact the whole hotel. The carpet is very dirty, the walls dirty, the bathroom very small. The shower was terrible, the water had no pressure, you could barely wash yourself and the shower cabin was very small. You couldn't wash. Thr hotel is well located, the breakfast is acceptable, it could be even better. Towels were changed daily. The room was facing the main street, so very noisy. very thin walls between rooms. I would not recommend this hotel for picky eaters. Next time we will choose another hotel.
