    We arrived after long journey. Having paid extra to upgrade with balcony so was keen to get to room. Room was grim and tired the balcony overlooked washing lines back yard ‘and bins Hotel is tired and in need of refurbishing staff were helpful

    Overall a great hotel. Plus is the rooftop terrace open for breakfast and drinks in the evening with a wonderful view over the city and beach.Friendly personnel with a reception always available.Nice room with beautiful renovated bathroom.

    Stayed here for 5 nights. Receptionist Ciara was so friendly and helpful the minute you arrived until we left. Room was great we had junior suite with a balcony which we used everyday. Rooftop bar again staff great drinks spot on service fantastic. Opens at 5.30pm we sat in the sunshine for couple of drinks plenty of locals use the bar so good sign.Hotel is close to sea front and town centre all easy walking.Chiavari great place hotel spot on.

    The room was very nice, big enough, nice bathroom and very kind people at the reception. Also cleanliness was very good. We also experienced rooftop bar with beautifull atmosphere where we hade a drink. The breakfast was a disappointment. We came 45 minutes before closing and there was hardly anything left to offer. We asked for some cooked eggs, scrambled eggs or extra plain yoghurt and they claimed that there was nothing more available. The staff were very rude and unpolite.

    We stayed here as part of a holiday group and were disappointed with the accommodation. The room was clean but there were no drawers to put clothes away. Our room was on the 3rd floor and every night there was noise from the Terrace Bar on the 4th floor. They seemed to be moving furniture about for hours! Also there was a noisy disco on the Monday night. We didn't get a good night's sleep the whole time we were there. Also there was no comfortable lounge seating. We had a free day when the weather was bad and it would have been good to sit comfortably and read in the hotel but no chance. The Roof Terrace doesn't open till 5pm so it wasn't possible to use the seating up there. Chiavari is a lovely little town with porticoed streets, and is a good base to stay, just don't choose this hotel!
