    An incredible pleasant experience in this magica place out of crowded places, calm and relaxing this design hotel has been conceived by the famous Italian architect Vico Magistretti. A hidden gem with great staff and notable details. Every corner has a story to tell. We lived in room 110 at ground floor, very comfortable and well designed. A very nice swimming pool under the olives tree. A pool restaurant and an incredibly well prepared breakfast buffet. For art and design lovers you will enjoy this unique atmosphere very professional staff and value for money. Please keep it as it is! Thanks a lot we will be back for sure!

    Worst hotel experience ever! Be careful with this hotel and don't be misled by the well crafted photos, it really doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel. After looking at the images for Locanda Dell Angelo, we decided to upgrade to 2 superior rooms for 2 nights. On arrival at 2.30pm, we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs - no lift. One of the rooms was not ready and the other room smelt like it had just been fumigated and had no curtains. After looking around at the general poor condition of the room, I requested a room change or a refund, but was told there were no other rooms available and a refund was not possible. We went out for dinner and returned around 8.30pm. When we returned, the second room had been made up with one flat pillow for each bed. After requesting two additional pillows, we were told extra pillows were not available. Very poor customer service and lots of rules in this hotel, like no room service and dinner served in restaurant between 8.15pm-9.30pm. After being bitten by mosquitoes on the balcony, we decided to keep the old wooden single glazed balcony door closed and keep the AC on, even though it was noisey and smelly. After a very uncomfotable night, we decided to leave straightaway so not to spoil the rest of our holiday. Best decision ever to checkout early, even it did cost the the additional night's stay.

    This lovely family run hotel was the perfect place after busy tours in Pisa & Florence. Calm & relaxing atmosphere with great attention to our youngest daughter who is Celiac. Lovely base to explore beaches nearby

    This great hotel is located in the countryside just a few kilometers from the sea: rooms are spacious with big terrace and a great view on mountains. Great outdoors swimming pool where you could stay all day long. Excellent breakfast.

    A delightful place to stay. Fabulous location near the old town of Sarzana. The housekeeping was perfect, the rooms immaculately clean. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. A really lovely stay. We hope to return again soon.
