    Great place to stay!

    Very nicely updated rooms. Very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their recommendations were very helpful.Difficult to reach. Lots of hills and stairs. There is a local service that can transport your luggage to and from the station.

    Absolutely loved staying here. Our room was really lovely and we had a garden patio which was big. Hotel was in a good location up the hill so it was quiet. Elena our host was always on hand for us and was exceptional giving us some places to visit and organising our sunset cruise. Gaia who did the breakfast was fabulous as our friends had breakfast. Can’t fault this place and would definitely come back. Thank you Elena and Gaia

    We had expected the accommodation to be basic, with limited facilities in the room or on site, so there were no surprises. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, but not so much the pillows (not unusual we found in Italy). The shower room was small but adequately equipped, and we had a nice balcony with table and chairs.Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as the weather was pretty warm and humid during our stay.There are lots of steps to negotiate so this particular guest house would not be suitable for those with limited mobility.Service from the one member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a good job too.Breakfast (arranged at a nearby hotel) was very nice.Location is at the top of the town but only a short walk (five minutes at the most) downhill to plenty of restaurants - uphill on the way back though!

    Simple hotel with quite low standard but still very lovely. The view from the private terrace was amazing and we spent the late nights there drinking prosecco. Sarah, the hostess, was lovely and very friendly. She help out with anything we needed.They could also offer us parking which was very helpful since parking in Riomaggiore is a nightmare. The location was also perfect. Very happy with our stay!

    We were in Italy on our honeymoon and had told all of our hotels about the special occasion, but the staff at locanda ca da iride were the only ones who acknowledged it. The owner is very conscientious and thoughtful. He really cares about your well-being and the way that his business is being run. And it’s being run well. Our room was pretty simple, very clean, with a great bathroom. The breakfast is worth it too. All in all, great experience.
