    Nice hotel and lovely staff. But we could hear the next door shower and toilet flushing . It kept us awake. Unfortunately in Italian hotelsthey are not big on sound insulation as they are built with Hollow cheap bricks that do not stop sound. It's a shame that the owners don't address this issue. But profit before customer satisfaction is often the case in Italy. We were offered a discount on the original price so I guess that was OK. If you stay hear bring earplugs. Corte Benedetto, Proprietario at Agriturismo Corte Benedetto, responded to this review Thank you for your review.We are not a hotel but an agriturismo and there is a lot of difference between the two facilities. (Agriturismi in Italy were often stables or farms). The rooms are soundproofed but only some of them are more sensitive to sound.... I find it offensive to generalize and to say that in Italy we often think of profit before anything else ... We, Corte Benedetto, the first thing we think about is customer satisfaction and that is why you were offered a discount that was quite advantageous for you ... if we were thinking only about profit you probably would have paid the full amount ... I advise you for the next times if you have something to complain, not to do it on the day of check out but to do it after the first night so the facility can come up with solutions .... instead you said things only at check out and the only thing you could offer at that point was a discount.Greetings

    Delightful Agriturismo

    It is nice to be traveling again and it was fantastic to spend 6 nights at Corte Benedetto. This is my 3rd time staying at this property and I love it more and more with every visit. The owner and his staff are wonderful and they will go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxing visit. The location is beautiful and peaceful, but with a car, it is a convenient base for day trips in Tuscany

    Wonderful Tuscan views and amazing pool

    We went as a couple with a 10 year old and my elderly mother. The place is stunning with the most amazing Tuscan views. The pool is clean and warm and big surrounded by vineyards and lovely countryside views.The owners and people working there were so kind and helpful and always friendly. We would definitely go back and can’t recommend it enough

    We stayed on this hotel for 6 nights. The room was very clean, the bathroom was really pretty and roomy. The shower is quite large and closes all the way around (so you don't make everything wet). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was what you'ld expect. The pool was big enough. During our stay there were always enough umbrellas and beds at the poolside. There isn't much to do in the neighborhood so I'ld suggest going to Montecarlo or Lucca for dinner.     The best Italian hotel we stayed in

    Just a beautiful hotel, in a stunning location, with lovely attention to detail and a friendly attitude from all that work there. We stayed in seven hotels on our Italian roadtrip in July/August 2018, and this was by far the best. The hotel is exquisitely clean, and the pool and hot tub at the back have the most amazing views. The hotel was not cheap, but a visit is worth every penny.
