    Spacious Comfort with Strong Amenities, Though Some Polishing Needed

    The hotel itself is expansive, with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities including pools, gardens, and park areas that create an appealing sense of space. The reception area is large and efficient, while the multiple elevators servicing different wings mean you rarely waste precious vacation time standing around like luggage. Check-in was fast, friendly, and professionally handled.Rooms are spacious, with generous bathrooms, quality toiletries, and thoughtful design touches such as the transparent desk, which enhances the sense of openness. The sea-view terrace is a particularly appreciated feature. However, some elements betray the hotel’s age: lamps could use replacing, bathroom refurbishment would be beneficial despite the charmingly distinctive pink sink, and an unreliable toilet flush is hardly ideal. A broader cosmetic refresh, including updated paintwork, would elevate the overall experience considerably.Pet owners will appreciate the dog-friendly policy and dedicated breakfast area, though some pet amenities would improve the experience.Breakfast is abundant and varied, with the expected sweet and savory options, though nothing particularly memorable stands out. It satisfies rather than delights.The spa facilities are a notable strength. The indoor pool and spa area are enjoyable, and my back massage was excellent. Still, the indoor pool could be larger. During poor weather it can quickly fill with noisy children and lose much of its relaxing appeal. Housing the gym in the same warm pool area is also less than ideal, creating an uncomfortable exercise environment.Staff throughout the property were consistently excellent: friendly, efficient, and professional, a major asset.Parking appears sufficient during quieter months. One genuinely baffling flaw is the hotel signage itself, which is too discreetly placed and nearly obscured by vegetation, making arrival unnecessarily more difficult than it should be.Overall, UNA Hotel Versilia offers substantial comfort, excellent service, and strong facilities. With some refurbishment and sharper attention to detail, it could move from very good to genuinely exceptional.     This is a very nice hotel very clean with spa with indoor and outdoor pool. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff at the breakfast is really amazing ❤️. All of them are really welcoming smilling and efficient. It was a pleasure.     We stayed as a family at this Hotel and we were lucky to have great weather.The Hotel staff were very helpful, very friendly and polite.The hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious.We made the most of the outdoor pool and indoor spa that were amazing .The hotel was situated close to the beach and we were fortunate enough that it wasn’t summer season and busy. Would highly recommend.     Lovely modern hotel with great facilities

    Lovely Easter stay for 8 nights. The large rooms are perfect for families. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice. Whilst reception was sometimes busy the staff were always helpful. Great location with the added bonus of free bikes to hire. We would definitely return.     Perfect family facility!

    We were looking for an apartment hotel so we could stay together as we traveled with young children and this didn’t disappoint! The apartment was fab! We had 2 bedroom with fold down bed in living room also and the vista was gorgeous, room 222, 2nd floor, corner overlooking the gardens, pool, we have sea view and mountains to the other side- bliss! Huge corner balcony. Kitchen, washing machine, proper size fridge freezer. Staff were lovely and welcoming! Buffet breakfast was amazing- so much choice and all delicious! Fresh smoothies made in front of you, omelettes cooked your way, fresh coffee, lots of fruits, cheese, pastries, cakes. All gorgeous! The only areas for improvement are the spa area is in need of a refresh as looking tired but the indoor pool was lovely. The bathroom was fine but the floor tiles needed a little maintaining.Floor in kitchen needs changing as some of the wood is swollen and uneven. Location is good for buses to Viareggio and Viareggio train station but there wasn’t much to do within walking distance but think that’s because we stayed at end of a October so maybe more would be open in high season. Bikes to borrow free! Very tiny play park for very young kids. Short walk (10mins ) to Esselunga for supply’s. Outdoor pool was shut apart from our first day but again, this was due to end season as it’s not heated. Microwave in kitchen would be a big improvement! Roof top restaurant looked nice but touch expensive and very little choice for kids so we didn’t try this. Overall, lots of special memories made - We hope to return again!
