    Unfortunately our room was not 4 stars!!I gave a two star score as the view from the balcony was very nice, but the rest I would only give 1 star. We were expecting a room like the photo's on their websiteWe paid for a balcony view and that is what we got, Best views of the lake, but the chairs were flimsy and uncomfortable. As for the room Terrible!!! I will add photos for you to see.Dirty scruffy and a 4 star Price!!!!Loose toilet and dribble for a shower!The Staff were pleasant but didn’t go out of their way to help.We had one meal in the Hotel restaurant and that was enough. We chose to eat elsewhere after that.Small walk into town but not enough to complain about.     Great hotel for business meeting and free parking

    Booked this hotel for a business seminar. They were able to host our group of 60 without issue. The distance from Milan may seem far during peak traffic but waking up to this view resolves all concerns. Our rooms were clean and ready upon check in time. The lakeview balconies offered exceptional views of the sunrise, Lake Maggorie, and the mountains did not disappoint! We hosted a small dinner in the side room against the rock cliff and it was just right for the group dinner. Our conference was conducted all day and while the topics were engaging-;fighting with the view out the windows was worth it. The staff was courteous, helpful to all our out of town guests and everyone was thankful to visit this site in Arona. Many walked to the city, took hikes, and also enjoyed the ferry to see the castle across the lake. We'll make sure to come back again.     Be aware - Caveat emptor

    Be aware - Caveat emptorA room booked for 4 nights and paid in advance 4 months in advance via Booking.com. The room was cancelled by the hotel 6 days before arriving (already touring Italy by car). Contacted Booking.com twice who promised a call back. Never happened. Contacted again and offered 2 alternatives - one not even on the lake, the other a chalet, not a hotel with no facilities nearby. At this stage we are touring Italy by car and have no time etc. to sort an alternative with a lake view and walkable restaurants. All the decent hotels were booked up as you would expect. The hotel eventually offered a room in their sister hotel Atlantic 1 mile away in the middle of Arona. Next to the railway station, noisy road nothing like a lake view. The booking.com agent advised me that a 50% refund would be made when we returned to the UK. Despite following this up several times it appears Booking.com will not now honour the refund as we accepted the alternative hotel room. The hotel refused to accept any liability so Booking.com could only offer minimum compensation. Worth noting that at check-in the hotel never acknowledged this issue or apologised.So, the hotel can move you to a different hotel entirely with significantly different amenities and they suffer no penalty. So don't book this hotel, or the Atlantic, as they will just cancel your booking to suit themselves - I assume they got a better offer. They claimed initially they had been hacked then on another occasion informed Booking.com it was due to maintenance.

    Nice hotel with fantastic lake views.The rooms are comfortable with good breakfasts and pleasant staff.Popular with group travel and the hotel treats groups efficiently.Only minor issue is the walk to town. The walkway is narrow a long a sometimes busy road.The restaurant has some high points and a good wine list.     A perfect stay in a beuatiful location.

    A completely relaxing stay. We arrived at the hotel with our car on the back of a breakdown truck after a long drive. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful unloading our luggage and helping us to the room.Unfortunately for us my wife broke her wrist during our stay and once again the hotel staff were exceptional with their support throughout our stay by looking out for her whilst I was working and also with help during conversation with medical staff on the phone. Really cant praise them enough. The hotel is very clean, restaurant food for breakfast and evening meal really nice and reasonably priced.
