    We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in a room overlooking the lake. We found the room to be well furnished and spacious. Breakfast was included in our fare and provided a wide variety of dishes. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional- by day 2 they were recognising us by name. We took advantage of a couple of the boat excursions offered by the hotel and these were extremely well organised. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, it is well located to the ferry terminal, the town and other places to dine

    This is the most relaxing stay to end a busy trip exploring the Italian lakes and Venice. The hotel is perfectly managed, the staff all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accommodating sometimes fussy needs for food off the menu. We stayed for a week half board, we benefited from the trips organised by the hotel to see the local sights, which were perfectly managed again making our stay amazing! Thank you to all the team, catering, bar, reception!The food was delicious, the nicest desserts I have ever tasted, presentation was always amazing and service couldn’t have been better. The lakeside room, the most amazing view! Just perfect.

    Have been to this hotel many times and it is consistently wonderful but I just wanted to say something about the food this year. It has always been very good but is now at a different level. Congratulations to Annalisa and the chefs - we enjoyed excellent meals all week 🙏

    Hotel Cannero is a gem!

    If you want charm, character, excellent service and fantastic food look no further. In a beautiful setting right on the Lake by the sleepy ferry stop, sits this lovely hotel. The owner is around all the time often serving at dinner (and sometimes playing the piano) with am retinue of attentive but relaxed staff that cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. After staying in many hotels in Europe and beyond in the last twenty years this has been the best one by far. Our experience shows us yet again that the Italians really do know how to please. The hotel boat will take you to the Borromean islands for a day trip and also has sunset sails around i Castelli island - visible from the hotel. Whilst this is a 4 star hotel it really is heading for a higher rating but with very reasonable prices. Cannero is a sleepy little town and quiet so if you are looking for the high life with nightclubs forget it! A short sail takes you to the nearby town of Cannobio which has a livelier feel, more restaurants but is still very pretty. Thank you Citalia - who put this trip together for us.
