Location

This hotel is situated in the southern area of Milan in a strategic position near both the highways (the A7 and the West ring road) and convenient for the city centre, which lies only 25 minutes away on public transport. It is one stop away on the bus from underground station Famagosta on the green line. Guests will find restaurants and bars around 3 km from the hotel. Linate Airport is 20 km away and it is 40 km to Malpensa Airport.

    Good value budget hotel...but please change carpet!!

    Staff very welcoming, friendly helpful and professional. Lovely 'art deco' reception area. Continental breakfast good. Shuttle bus opposite hotel very efficient to Metro....only approx. 10 mins. away...good connections to Central Milan/main train station and localities. Rooms adequate, cleaned daily...but would really benefit from coffee/tea making facilities.What really lets this hotel down is the dreadful carpet on all floors, including in the lift! For sure this is not a good first impression and remains a source of mystery to us! We were told 'it's always been like that/is meant to be like that....!!'...you really would have to see it to believe it...is quite shocking to say the least!!     I stayed with a colleague at this hotel for 3 nights during the MCE Fair in Milan from March 13th to March 15th. The staff was incredibly polite, and the hotel offered great value with economical pricing. Its location was convenient, approximately 20 minutes by car from the Duomo Center in Milan. The primary reasons for my positive feedback are the courteous staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Although the building is old, it is maintained very well, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay.     The hotel had such a lovely aesthetic and the breakfast was very tasty as well. Our room was spacious and clean with a big, beautiful window on half the wall so the view was great to look at each morning. The thing I appreciated the most was how kind and friendly the staff was! Overall, I would definitely choose to stay at Hotel Alga again if I ever went back to Milan!

    it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was super friendly and were 24/7 available to help or guide in any way. Also, breakfast was a very nice and affordable option you could have!Definitely, a good choice!Grazie a tutti!

    The worth place to stay at

    The worth place I could imagine. Didn't have a chance to stay. Booked one year ahead! Had financial difficulties, so was forced by circumstansies to cancel. The holel rejected to pay money back, were extremly rude, didn't want to talk and did't give a chance to explain reasons. Is it legal? Anyway, never saw such rude Italians. Don't recomend to anyone.
