There's a great guy working there, Andjelo.

    rating03 May 2026

Kudos to Andjelo who works at the hotel reception. It is rare to meet someone so dedicated to their work and guests. He solved all our doubts with a smile on his face. The hotel is good, but it's the employees like him who make the difference and why we'll come back.

A great place to explore Milan from.

An enormous corner bedroom with an enormous and very comfortable bed. It was really clean and well decorated , had a lovely double leather sofa as well as all mod cons - including separate USB ports to charge your phones! Good facilities all round. Fridge and room safe too - you can buy some milk for tea / coffee just down the road. Two slight downsides - only slight:1) it was a little way to everything. However, there is a Metro Station (underground) at Turro which is about 1 minute's walk away. Getting on the transport systems is one of the things I enjoy about discovering a city and once you get the hang of it, it's easy and a great system. You can buy a three day pass (or others ) direct from ATM (not a bank ATM but ATM who run the transport network) which covers all of the city's buses, trams and trains for just 15.5 Euro. Buy them at the ticket machines on the Metro station - and you can press for for English language on them too. Then just tap when you go on and get off on each journey. All your travel (except to / from Malpensa airport) sorted. We caught an airport bus for 10 Euro . Express train is about 15Euro and taxis are horribly expensive! From Milano Centrale (central railway station) where most people arrive, its one Metro change - two stops on the green line, change to the red and a few stops up is Turro. Very quick and simple once you've done it once. The second slight downstairs was only on one of our two nights. The people in the room upstairs sounded like they were stamping on the ceiling and walking (stamping) around for such a long time, they were SO noisy and the noise insulation clearly wasn't perfect. The second night there was no such problem. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfasts were excellent and catered for all European and British tastes with fresh fruit, pastries, juices, bacon and egg. toast, cereal etc etc.

Definitely not one of the better choices in Milan....

A disappointing experience here, due to multiple factors. They really should just tear down this hotel and rebuild a new one. Where to start....The worst:- Rooms facing the road - you hear street noise, and get woken up in the middle of the night by police cars and ambulances and garbage trucks. No soundproofing at all.- Shower mixer is cheap - so the water goes from hot to cold, hot to cold. Nothing you can do about it.- The pillows have lost all fluffiness, just a hard slab. When we asked if they had other pillows - no luck. All the same.- No complimentary water given in the room.- Soundproofing in the rooms is non-existent. So if you want to sleep past 8am, tough luck. As you hear housekeeping dragging stuff in the corridor outside, banging open doors, running the hoovers. If upstairs room drops anything on the floor or walks around in shoes, you hear it too. Also water flowing through pipes. Combined with the room facing the road; almost impossible to get a night's sleep all the way through, you get woken up very often.- Not much of a bar or restaurant in the hotel, so if you're looking for either, skip this hotel. The average:- Breakfast is OK, passable. I wouldn't pay more than 5-10 euros for it though. However, there's also not many good options nearby. The carrefour next door will have some pastries though, and there's a kettle in the room.- Bathroom was modern (except for the badly behaving shower mixer).- Staff were kind and courteous.- Bed is OK. On the firmer side than softer side, if that's your preference. The good:- Its obviously cheaper than a city centre hotel; I would definitely want to be paying c50 euros a night or more less than an equivalent 3 star hotel in the center (note, this hotel claims 4 stars, but it probably is closer to a 3 star quality).- Its 1-2 minutes walk to the metro station on the M1 line, which gets you to the center really quickly. So good enough for touristy purposes.- There's a 24 hour medium sized Carrefour next door, for all your needs.- Wifi was decently fast.- There's a safe in the room, for valuables.
