Location

The hotel is located in Milan's historic centre, a few steps from the Teatro alla Scala theatre and the Duomo cathedral, and close to the main fashion streets such as Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. Milan’s Linate and Malpensa Airports are 8 and 30 km away respectively.

Facility

113 rooms, including 50 single rooms and 50 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

    Luxurious and worth the money

    You get what you pay for, as the saying goes. This was more expensive ($140 more per night) than the other hotel I stayed in during my visit to Milan, but my word! If your budget can allow, this is a wonderful place for your base visiting the city. The lobby is well staffed by impeccable, uniformed receptionists, fluent in English; the breakfast on the mezzanine is extremely well stocked and tasty (though note that the only access seems to be via a staircase); the bedroom is spacious and utterly silent, with a most comfortable bed and expansive bathroom. Complementary (and generous) toiletries and a flatscreen TV complement the sense of luxury. The location of this hotel is terrific, and its only drawback is that you might be tempted NOT to explore the city but instead stay in the hotel and enjoy its comforts! I would most happily return here the next time I’m in Milan.     Convenient hotel

    Very well located. 10 minutes walk to the central shopping street. 15 minutes to the Duomo. The hotel has its own parking for 38 euros/night. Decent breakfast. The rooms are not very large, but modernly renovated and comfortable. Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom was broken. There is a park nearby for walking or running. We enjoyed our stay.

    The hotel beside its flash door handles just didn’t have it. We have been traveling Spain, Croatia, Italy for the past 7 weeks and this is the worst hotel we have stayed at even given rural Spain. We pre booked in April given good Tripadvisor reviews, however this was not our experience. We stayed for 4 nights as we weren’t prepared to move out early, breakfast was included. We are there once on the first morning. Scrambled eggs were like dried corn, fruit platter non existent. Fresh fruit blemished. In the room no face washers, leaking cardboard small cups, no glasses. Even the staff were standoffish and not friendly like we have found most people during our amazing European journey. We didn’t see a single female staff member.     Beautiful Gem Perfectly Located in Milan

    Perfectly located gem in Milan, close to transportation and within a 15 minute walk of the Cathedral, the Sforza Castle and a delightful shopping/cafe area. Hotel front desk staff were exceptional and helped navigate dinner options and taxis. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a great start to the day.     A Gem in the heart of Milan

    The Hotel Cavour is a gem. Smack in the heart of Milan, its public spaces retain its old world charm, while the rooms have been recently redesigned and reinvented to the most exacting contemporary standards. They are at once sleek, elegant and yet functional. The service is impeccable, be it at the reception, breakfast room, restaurant, bar—you name it. The variety and quality of the breakfast, incidentally, is remarkable. We’ve been coming to this hotel for decades; it was always home away from home, and with every stay it gets better. My wife and I could not recommended it more.
