    Bad experience !

    We booked for 3 nights but left after 1st night. Airco was not working (was above 30 degrees that night) rooms were not clean and breakfast was very poor ! The kids slept on the floor to be able to fall asleep in this heat.

    Bitterly disappointed! you weren’t sold out when I booked on hotels.com, but now you are? I don’t understand why you’ve cancelled my booking? On booking.com you are showing as sold out? It seems you have guests staying on the date I booked in Oct 2021 for Sept 2022, nearly 11 months in advance. I now have to alter my carefully made travel plans due to your alleged mistake on just my booking? This is incredibly unprofessional, I will post this on trip advisor as I don’t want others to be treated in this shambolic way. Matteo Maifrini, Proprietario at Hotel La Bergamina, responded to this review Sorry but we didn't understand your comment and we don't know who you are.

    Stayed here for one night with 2 children on a road trip. With GPS it was easy to find although the access road is narrow but short making you wonder if you are on the wrong road (you are not). Its just a quiet residential area. First impression is the hotel is very clean which is an absolute must for me. They take your temperature on arrival. The hotel is separated in two buildings and we stayed in the adjacent building which is just about 30 meter walk across the courtyard. They have secure outdoor parking for about a dozen cars and some more in the back of the property that is theoretically for the hotel restaurant. There is some street parking available out front with no time restrictions.They have simple good sized family rooms with standup shower. The bedding was also good. My only complaint may be that the bath towels were a little small. We ate at the hotel restaurant. They have both very large indoor and covered outdoor seating area and even lounge chairs. Given the Covid and Monday night it wasn't very busy. The food was good.

    I was there for a combined business / private stay. Good connection to Bergamo airport, connection from the station to the hotel a little bit difficult (pick-up call before arrival recommended). Nice restaurant, very freindly service, clean and well-priced rooms. Clear recommendation for stays in Milan area, 2.50EUR for the train ticket and 1,50EUR for the metro...and you can go everywhere in Milano.

    After having our previous UK arranged Monza F1 bookings cancelled at the last minute, we found this hotel in the small town of Arcore, close to Monza itself. The initial introduction down a tiny country road lined with weeds wasn't a great start, but when you turn into the entrance, everything fell into place. The staff were excellent - helpful and understanding of our limited Italian. The restaurant was very nice, with a limited, but wonderful authentic menu. We stayed here for 4 nights, and had an absolute ball, getting to know the hotel staff well, and enjoying our stay very much indeed. A different experience to our previous stays in bergamo, but a lovely surprise, nevertheless.
