    The 4 star hotel that did not meet expectations

    RoomVery basic, no tea / coffee facilities in the room. TV was quite small. Felt like it lacked any sort of atmosphere / character. I feel it would’ve felt nicer if there was some art on the walls. Especially since the windows have shutters on restricting your view (not that the views are anything special)The desk would have been better if it was a dressing table.Hotel needs an upgrade in terms of the decor.BreakfastI personally wasn’t a fan of the breakfast. Was a buffet selection, little choice and hot drinks were from a basic machine, so wasn’t a great experience.LocationQuite far from the centre, however the metro was very close, easy to use, reasonably priced and great to use for travelling around Milan.StaffThe staff were friendly, helpful and always someone on the desk to approach.Wouldn’t say this is a four star hotel. Two star at best.

    Not currently a 4* but friendly and very helpful staff. The Hotel is being renovated and my room, which was a large one, was in its original state. Mika and all of the Filipino staff plus the Italian gentleman were very helpful in booking taxis, suggesting local shops and restaurants etc. My room had clean sheets, hot water, good wifi and air conditioning. The location of the Green Line was immediately next to the hotel. Breakfast was pleasant and there was some variety. It was booked by my Company, so I presume it was reasonable. There are plenty of shops and eating places at the back of the hotel. Provided you don't go expecting full 4* fittings ( currently more 2* until renovations ,?), the Hotel is basic but fits a need but with great people there to help you.

    Hotel staff stole a wallet from my room

    The hotel is located extremely close to Crescenzago station which allows for realtively quick travel into central Milan. I found the area around the hotel quite quiet and had no real issues with noise while trying to sleep (except for the occasional police siren)Breakfast, while basic, wasn't too bad. The room itself was of an ok size, and the beds felt ok to us.For the first day of our stay, the air conditioning worked as expected. It was around 35°C for all 5 days we were in Milan. However from the second day, it was stuck on 24°C and wouldn't let us adjust, it just said 'central' on the control unit, suggesting the hotel has an override to lock it down. This made the room warmer that we'd have liked during the night.We noticed that the shower head adjustment was quite loose, so the weight of the shower head itself meant that you couldn't quite angle it properly, annoying but we were able to work around this issue.The hotel definitely isn't 4 stars. It's maybe 3 at an absolute push. I get the impression that it hasn't been particularly well maintained over the last 5 or so years. The hotel also feels a little understaffed.However if these were the only negatives, this would probably be a 3 star review. The biggest, and most important issue was theft. During one of the days, a wallet containing some cash in my bag, and a card that was left on the side, were taken by hotel staff. This was mentioned to them once I was certain it was no longer in the room, and of course they denied all accusations. Unfortunately, I had to check out the next day and nobody was at the front desk to assist, so all further communication with the hotel has been via their business WhatsApp. From those conversations, it has felt that they're not really taking it seriously, and aren't investigating what has happened. I've since seen another recent review reporting a similar problem. This blasé attitude to very serious allegations is disgusting, and I cannot recommend anybody stay here.

    1Second day in this hotel for working reasons without any other choice because of the expo!Yesterday when I arrived I saw that the blanket was dirty and immediately gone to the reception to give it back!I told them to put a new,clean one the next day!!Now before 10 minutes I arrived again here and again I saw a blanket dirty!! The most dangerous thing besides the dirt on my blankets was that I bought a Coca-Cola from the vending machine they have at the reception and it was 4.5 months out of date!I will wait in the morning to talk to the person in charge of all thisI hope I don't have any problems with my stomach! But if there is any problem during the night I will call the police

    Horrible Experience and Disrespectful Reception Manager

    Beware of staying in this hotel, the guy in the reception (called Luka) has extremely disrespected me and showed impolite behavior.1) The AC in the room was not working, we were all sweating from head to toes, but he first insisted that the temperature isn’t bad, then after that he said the only reason for the hot climate in the room is because of my 4 years old daughter! he said if she wasn’t accompanying you then your room would’ve been cold because of less breath in the room!!!!!2) My reservation is for 2 adults + 2 childs, but he insisted that my booking is for a Triple Room (which normally fits 3 people), although my booking clearly says it’s for 4! Then he said if you have a problem don’t say it to me, just complain to the travel agent who made your reservation, he said “I don’t care!”3) When I insisted on either fixing the AC or giving me another room with a working AC, he started yelling at me and he said he’ll get me the police!Don’t even make a mistake by staying in this hotel. My experience was on 21 July 2022.
