  Hotel in a Desio very nice and clean.Basic rooms but comfortable beds.Price honest.Breakfast we did not 'cause we woke up tardi.Facile to reach because in the center of Desio and very easy to find to park Originally submitted in Italian on www.tripadvisor.it. View originals.

  Stayed a single night at Hotel Selide whilst in Desio for business. Having stayed last year I knew what to expect, and the hotel was pretty much the same Check in was quick, a hotel which actually stores guests' details makes it much easier to check in.The room was simple, bed, table, safe and TV, clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel, accessed initially with a user name and password, then it reconnects each time you return. Breakfast had a small selection of food, and a choice of coffees. If I visit Desio again I'll be back to Hotel Selide!

  Budget priced, but everything to you need for a good night's sleep

  Staying in Desio for a single night for a meeting my colleague booked be this hotel. Located not 5 minutes from the offices it as ideal location, budget priced. Location wise the hotel is no more than 25 minutes drive (late evening not much traffic) from Monza.The check in process was simple and friendly, I was warned about a step in my room, and the WiFi key offered, and I was off to the room in the tiny lift. The room and bathroom was very clean, and I saw the reason for the warning about the step! With a comfy bed, aircon, and plenty of wardrobe space to hang clothes the room was ideal.Breakfast was a very simple affair, with a minimal offering of continental breakfast – and great choices of coffee.This is a no frills hotel, but if you need to be in the area and need a well priced, clean and friendly hotel then look no further – this is perfect.

  i can says, is not a center hotel but if you need somthing around, you may go there, a central plac near is monza, yes you remember from the races, also city of monza have good restaurants and bars, also have one of the cathedrals, is look same as the one in milano, smaller but more beutiful, for my taste, return to the hotel, its simple, very frendly service

  Very strange little hotel. On business nearby for a week and ended up at this hotel, to be fair it is fairly cheap, the rooms were very large and clean but it really is so tired and outdated. I'm used to staying in Premier Inn quality in the UK or Novotel in Europe so this was a big disappointment. I had a large corner room on (I think the 6th floor) with fantastic view towards the Alps. Breakfast was a very small buffet and there is no restaurant in the hotel. Arrived at 7pm on a Monday evening and spent an hour walking around town trying to find somewhere to eat, anything even a McDonalds would have done but everywhere seemed deserted. Eventually found a small restaurant in a side street just across from the hotel, this was ok but nothing special, on the remaining nights I drove into Monza (15 minutes away) and found some really nice restaurants. On the plus side this hotel is cheap, has a secure underground car park, the room clean and comfortable and the reception staff are very friendly. I think my negative image of the hotel is as much to do with the town as it is to the hotel, however it is (probably) an independent or family run hotel probably built in the 1970's and not updated since that time.
