    So sad

    rating31 Jan 2026

It was our third stay at this hotel with my husband, but for this time we are very upset 😡 and angry from the reception service. So let's start, we should have arrive at 23rd of January, because it was my birthday present, but unfortunately we had lost our 8 flight (because of the Visa at another country ), and arrived just at 24th of January, so we lost 1 night. Before booking i managed at what's up that it will be my birthday and that it would be nice to have some compliment from the hotel ( it is a hospitality international rule and not something strange ), it could be something small and something sweet such as a croissant that they have at the breakfast, but they ignored that and did nothing for the third time repeat guests ( they think it is a normal hospitality ? ) we are in shock from the action, really no comment 😳😳😳. Secondly : the lady at the desk at 24th of January ( 15:30 ) charged us for the city taxes 40 Euro. But unfortunately same woman during our check out wanted to charge us for the second time, so it was strange for us, because all information about the rooms and payments are at the Opera sistem. From the positive things : 1) The room clean was perfect 👌 thanks for the housekeeping 2) the breakfast was good We stayed also at montebianco hotel last time and the service was perfect also at the reception for the attention.PS: I worked as a quality manager and a problem manager at all inclusive hotel at sharm el sheikh, and i know the hospitality ruls and attitude

My wife and I spent 4 nights Mokinba hotels King in Milan the hotel was in a good position 8 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk to the centre of town with plenty of places to eat and shop (be aware of pickpockets)The hotel it self was very clean and the staff very helpful the only thing wrong was our room was small and the shower was very small if you are a large person do not stay here as you will not fit in the shower

Not a positive feedback, booked throuth amex

    rating28 Oct 2025

We traveled as two couples and, unfortunately, left disappointed. • The first room we were given clearly smelled of smoke even though the hotel is advertised as non-smoking. Credit where it’s due: the older gentleman at reception was kind and switched the room quickly. • We also asked him about a late checkout; he said it should be fine but to confirm with the next day’s colleague who handles housekeeping schedules. The main issues: • We booked via Amex and weren’t sure if breakfast was included. When we went down to check, staff simply ticked our room numbers without asking anything. At checkout we were charged €15 per person (€60 total) for breakfast. The breakfast itself was 2/10 by Italian standards—far from worth €15 pp based on other Italian hotels we’ve stayed at. The tall, middle-aged woman at the desk during checkout wasn’t friendly; no acknowledgment of the misunderstanding, just “pay, please.” • Room 2 (the replacement room) initially smelled strongly of chlorine, but that cleared quickly after we opened the window. • Noise/sleep quality: one room was on a high floor—street noise wasn’t an issue, but the walls were very thin, so we could hear other rooms. The other room was on floor 2 facing the street, and we heard everything outside. Very little sleep. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable either (subjective), but the real problem was poor soundproofing both between rooms and from the street. • The “luggage storage” isn’t a secure storage at all—bags are left openly in the reception area with no tags, receipts, or locked space. With staff changes, it felt like anyone could walk in and take a bag. Ours were fine, but it didn’t feel professional or safe.Bottom line: a polite receptionist and quick room change didn’t save the experience. Clearer breakfast communication at check-in, friendlier checkout service, proper tagged/locked luggage storage, and much better soundproofing would have made a big difference. As it stands, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Ok but could be muuuuche nicer

    rating25 Oct 2025

Not special, but they gave me good price and they had a balcony which is always pleasant, the view at night of the buildings of corso magenta are very nice…just the colors and vibe are very random, ground floor you have fake Louis XI forniture and an empty sad bar, in the room you have a cheap airport vibe hotel but…not bad for the price and location at all, I speak out of frustration because it could be so much better! The staff was very nice though))

    Successful Stay

    rating24 Aug 2025

Stayed here on both our first and last night of trip to Italy and would recommend it. Beautiful historic building, very clean and comfortable beds/room. Breakfast was continental with plenty of options for all. Great location within a short walk from Duomo/Milan City centre. Special mention to Nadia, who made booking and queries easy. Exceptional value for money
