Very friendly and helpful at the reception.You have the tram just outside (nr 16) 9 stations and you’re at Duome.What’s not mentioned in the booking section is that you have a coffee machine, which is essential to me.Very clean rooms.spacious.The only thing is that it has mold in the bathroom and that’s a big minus.Didn’t get to have breakfast as we’re leaving early.But all in all a very nice hotel.

Generál strike in Italy 29th Nov

My flight was canceled 29th November 2024 of generál strike in Italy and hotel Mec in Milano refused to give me partial refund for my stay .So i lost all my money.Reception talk with me rude and i couldmt talk with mamagment.If i go again to Milano i will never visit this unfriendly hotel.

Ok experience for the last minute booking.

Location is quite ok, many public transport (tram & bus stop nearby). Close to supermarket. few unnecessary stairs to reach check in desk & elevator. Room is very small as we have 2 large suitcases + 1 cabin bag with us. Common space for tea time is available for free. Friendly check in staff.

Third star goes to the staff and the staff only

Overpriced.The third star is only for the friendly staff of the cafeteria and the excellent coffee. The room itself was decent but not value for money at all. One toilet paper roll every couple of days per couple. Not convenient at all. We got the room on the first floor next to the breakfast serving area and next to the restroom. Every single morning we woke up from the noises of the preparation of the breakfast around 06:30. Also, if someone used the floor toilet the cistern would not stop as it was out of order making it difficult for us to sleep. You see the whole place was not soundproof at all.

Very nice stay, bathroom looked recently renovated, amazing shower, very friendly staff. Ilario is the friendliest receptionist I’ve ever met. Samuel from the evening shift was very helpful. Breakfast was very good in comparison to other hotels in Europe within the same category. One thing I missed was cream cheese, but the fact that there is someone there to prepare fresh orange juice made me forget that (thank you, Max!). The fact that I know everyone’s names proves how friendly they were ;) My side of the bed had a couple of lumps, though. I managed to find a position where it didn’t bother me, but I’d recommend avoiding room 42.
