    Spent a night at Montini on my way to Rome via Milan due to cancellation of direct flight from bankrupt airline Alitalia. Must say they handled it nicely, shuttle collection from Linate and again next morning to the airport, dinner and breakfast included. The Montini hotel where we spent the night is a typical business style hotel and restaurant. The room I was given was bright, warm and very comfortable. Bed was comfi and there was a choice between hard or soft cushion, the en-suite was large (although shower a bit tight). Breakfast very good too with a large selection of savoury and sweet. IMPRESSIVE CLEANLINESS, sheeting and towels as clean as anything clean. Bathroom couldn't be faulted. Reccomended if you are driving to Milan or flying via Linate and need to spend the night.     I was really upset when we had a nightmare experience with Alitalia and weren’t able to get back to London with our 6 month old baby. When Luca collected us from the airport I was crying! But they were so kind and helpful made me feel much better. They sorted us out a cot, boiled water for the baby and also pen and paper I needed. The food in the restaurant was good too!     I have stayed here at least twice per year for business for the last 5-6 years and never had an issue. Nice cold beer and free bar snacks, friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice restaurant at the front of the hotel. Was last here in April and the weather was gorgeous so me and my colleague was sunbathing on the car park, the bar staff kept bringing our drinks and snacks to us, great service!! :) :) The FREE shuttle even extended to taking us to our plant in Mediglia!!     less than 6 km driving from milan town, metro and train station, in a well served town with shopping centre, restaurant and all kind of services nearby, we booked here due to strategic location for visiting our Client ( lot of logistics companies in the neighbourhood). cleanliness of the rooms above avarages, staff impeccable . wifi, private car parking and possibility to book different services such as shuttle, restaurant and gym if needed . and the bright covered terrace to enjoy the tasty breakfast was a plus. definitely reccomended. montini39, Proprietario at Montini Hotel, responded to this review Thanks a lot

    Nothing about my experience was positive. I booked this hotel because I had an early flight out of Milan Linate and because it lists free airport shuttle. It is only free during certain times. If I had known that I would have booked another hotel. The rooms are outdated and old. The bed was dirty with hair in it. It was not a good experience and I would say choose another hotel with a better rating. montini39, Proprietario at Montini Hotel, responded to this review Cara Signora, sono veramente dispiaciuto che la Sua esperienza sia stata negativa , ci siamo già scusati con Lei più volte La ns. signora Paola si è scusata direttamente , io Le ho scritto e mi sono scusato su Expedia ora mi scuso su TripAdvisor...........Tutto nasce perché il ns. servizio shuttle CHE E' GRATUITO è attivo dalle 6,00 alle 23,00 mentre a Lei serviva alle 5,00 dal quel momento tutto è precipitato, non ha accettato la mancanza di informazione nulla andava piu' bene Che dire il portale di Expedia non riportava l'orario di servizio della navetta, il giorno dopo abbiamo rimediato tempestivamente a questa nostra svista, però il servizio navetta rimane gratuito, e il Suo accanimento mi sembra veramente eccessivo, inoltre , mi scusi ma io se avessi trovato la camera in disordine o rumorosa ne avrei chiesto il cambio, non capisco Mi dispiace veramente, vorrei chiederLe di nuovo scusa e invitarLa a riflettere su fatto che tutti possiamo sbagliare e noi abbiamo sbagliato Con cordialità Carlo MONTINI
