  Instead of a bed base for the mattress, the bed had a CLOTHES DRYER

  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the setup in the room. Instead of a proper bed base for the mattress, the hotel had placed it on top of a clothes dryer. This is beyond absurd and incredibly unprofessional. It felt uncomfortable, unsafe, and far from the standards one would expect when booking a hotel. I have taken photos of this unbelievable setup to share as proof. Guests should be warned about such poor conditions. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes immediate improvements.

  disgusting and horrible

  The stay was horrible, we had booked a cabin for two and they put us in a shared room for four days since all the double rooms were occupied, we had not previously received the confirmation email (booked on their own website) and we wrote twice via WhatsApp to make sure everything was correct, on both occasions they confirmed this to us despite arriving and not having our room! The place was super dirty, the backpacks, just by leaving them on the floor, collected little balls of fluff the size of a tennis ball... the hot water did not work in a city where we were at -1º... the towels were dirty and they did not change them in four days... the bathrooms smelled of urine, there were traces of makeup that were not cleaned in the three days we were there! Traces of vomit in the sink that were not cleaned either! The stay was disgusting, extremely unpleasant, since the minimum hygiene went unnoticed! It ended at 8:30am and was never replenished, so if you weren't one of the first to have breakfast you were stuck with plain old streaky coffee from a broken machine! I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there, and one of the receptionists spoke to us in a very rude and despicable tone. I don't think I'll be able to get any positive reviews for this place!

  This is a decent enough hostel. The bunks are not quite the capsules you might think from looking at its websites - they still have draw curtains rather than doors. But it felt secure enough. Common areas, including bathroom and showers, were fine. There was a breakfast that would be fairly typical of an Italian low-budget hotel.

  Ostelzzz Milan is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, and there’s no competition. Here are the reasons: 1. Upon my arrival, I greeted the front desk staff (a white woman) with a "Hi," but she rudely responded, "Just give me your passport," completely ignoring my greeting. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I was shocked by her behavior. A basic quality of any hotel staff member is to show basic respect to guests, and she failed to meet even this simplest standard. Her attitude made me feel very uncomfortable. 2. I booked two separate nights under two different reservations. After checking in, she told me I only had one night booked. I explained that I had reserved two nights and asked her to double-check. I was surprised because, with my passport and name, she could easily see all my reservations in her system. However, she insisted that there was no record of my second night and asked me to find it myself and show it to her. I had no choice but to search for it. Before I even found it, she suddenly said, "Oh, I found it." This behavior left me both shocked and angry, but I chose to hold back my frustration. 3. The rooms are cabins, and while the cabins themselves were okay, the bathroom smelled awful. The stench of feces lingered permanently, which was very unpleasant. 4. After I checked out, I needed to use the elevator because I had a large suitcase. The front desk (a white man with glasses) told me I could not use the elevator because I had already checked out. I had no choice but to carry my 20-kilogram suitcase up the stairs by myself (the reception is under floor). If you had such an experience at a hostel, how would you feel?

  Every space was very dirty (common areas/bathrooms).The cabin with two beds gives you some privacy but again there is a lack of space.Not a comfortable stay for two nights.On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the location is good.
