  Excellent Milan Stay

  Ok, Milan is expensive. The closer you stay to the fashion action areas, the more expensive it gets. Residence De La Gare is set more on the outskirts of the city and you need to travel a little bit to get to the action. BUT DONT LET THIS STOP YOU. You are just around the corner from Centrale station and basically have a tram stop and metro station on your doorstep that will take you into the main tourist and fashion areas in about 15 minutes. It is simple and easy to use with tap and go onboard. It is about an easy 40min walk otherwise. The apartment was large, spacious, well equipped with cooking facilities, clean and overall a fantastic place to stay. Lots of opening windows that made it feel like a retreat. The manager is very helpful and really I cannot recommend this place enough.

  Checking in was easy and staff was very friendly. We were arriving quite early, but we got our room right away, that was perfect. Room was big and spacious. Cleaning seemed to be ok, this was at the end only topic that I found complaining about. They should focus on details. Cooker hood was so dusty, that we were afraid to use it, just didn’t want to cause a fire with dusty hoover…. It’s small details with cleaning that they should focus on (broken vine glasses, cleaning the hoover, cleaning under a toilet seat, etc). Location of the apartment is very good. Closest metro is just behind the corner and walk to central station is only couple of minutes away. I can recommend this accommodation to everyone. Location is really good, service was amazing and room was big. Just little things with cleaning and I will give full 5 stars, now I’ll just give 4,5 😊

  Great Accommodation for Milan exploration

  The location, service and accommodation was spot on. All of the relevant ancillaries such as kettle, coffee maker, fridge etc were provided and the staff were extremely helpful. We found it a superb base for exploring Milan. As it is situated very close to Central Station it is great for access.

  Clean, safe and lots of restaurants

  Perfect stay for us 3.Checkin: Easy and quick. We got our keys and into our room by the nice front office lady in 10 minutes.Location: Around the corner from Central Station.Perfect Location especially those with no car.It's has tons of restaurants and cafes around the building and at every corner you walk to.The main shopping area where you'll find OVS. ZARA, etc. Is a 3 minute train ride or 10 min walk.Room: Clean Large master bed with a small balconyKitchen: Stocked with basic needs. Has full size fridge and a microwave and stove.Bathroom: Large and clean. Just a note the water to spill out when showering.AC and Heating: Heat doesn't get the rooms hot in the Winter months so we had a light sweater but we know from past experiences in Italy that's how most places are. Parking: Very hard to find. Most parking around is marked Yellow for residents and permit only. There is a paid parking lot next to the apt but only open til 1800. We found 24 hour parking 2min walk at Cristal Parking which was indoor, safe and easy to get to. Alot of high end cars parked here.Safety: very safe. Lots of commuters, business folks and locals. I walked to pick up food several times at 8-9 pm and lots of people out walking their dogs and going to restaurants (many restaurants reopen at 7p)
