  Convenient, safe but needs some attention.

  This is a good value hotel but definitely not a place for a typical tourist. The location is convenient for the metro & trams & local shopping. Even getting a map of Milan was not possible at the front desk. There was one helpful English speaking staff member but he had no local knowledge of anything we needed. (Laundry, where to buy ice, tickets for the metro, shopping, etc) It was a bit frustrating though he was a pleasant person and did his best. It seems that the hotel lacks in training. The rooms were a bit depressing in terms of decor. Original “mid century modern” that truly need a change. But the beds were comfortable. The biggest issue is air quality. After changing rooms due to a funny smell, the new room had a very noisy HVAC. The only way to sleep was to try to cover the vent. When we looked at the vent it was thick with dust. It needed attention & we reported it but nothing was done during our 5 night stay. I hope the owners see this review so they can work on attracting more visitors because the location is a huge bonus. It was recommended by a local friend who was trying to support the hotel’s business as we would never have found it on our own.

  This vintage hotel was clean & lovely. The staff was extremely accommodating. The breakfast was delightful. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I was skeptical reading past, yet recent, reviews. I found none of them to be true.

  Tired to call the hotel right now, and they kept hanging up on me. When the receptionist answered after 5-7 attempts, he hang up on me half sentence. I do not recommend this hotel, you will never be able to contact them

  This hotel is located 20 meter from metro Station Wagner where you can go anywhere of Milan easily. At downstairs you can find food store and 2 coffeeshop. So you will enjoy your life in Milan. But breakfast is little poor.

  My experience at Wagner was exceptionally great! Let me begin with the staff. Marino & Massimo are outstanding people. They were so super helpful to us. I even found a Dominican hair salon thanks to Marino & a Latin night club too! 😂😂 our room was comfortable & clean & lots of lighting in the room. Bathroom/ shower was also clean & comfy. The young lady that clean our room is also super nice. Breakfast was very good too including my daily hard boiled eggs. The location in this hotel is phenomenal I use to go for a daily smoothie a couple of doors from the hotel. A church across the street for my morning mass. Train station across the street which makes easy access to go to Il duomo & the touristy places in Milano. I took a cooking class close to the hotel too. My favorite restaurant is also around the block from Wagner,Osteria Al Fuoco Di Brace, highly recommended it! I’ve been multiple time to Milano this will certainly be my place to stay! Ciao
