  Great beach and amazing hospitality

  Great place on a wonderful stretch of beach. Staff is extremely polite and welcoming and the facilities are very good. Room was perfect and we got a free upgrade without even asking for it … so that made our short stay (3 nights) even more wonderful. Most of the guests were French and there were some Italian too. Staff is fluent in all languages so you’ll be well taken care of regardless of where you come from! Breakfast would have been improved by offering some local cheeses and cold meats (which are wonderful in Sardegna). Did not try lunch or dinner so cannot comment on that. Would definitely recommend this very pretty resort!   THIS HOTEL IS NOT SUITABLE FOR BRITISH SOLO TOURISTS

  I bought the holiday to this hotel through Jet2 holidays. It was my first solo holiday since my wife died and it was a complete disaster.I thought it was strange when I was the only person out of 200 on the plane being transferred to the Hotel in a Taxi.When I arrived at the Hotel Soon found out that I was the only English speaker in the Hotel the rest of the guest were Italian and French.I spent 7 days without speaking to anyone.Most of the staff spoke no English at all. The Hotel was quite nice with a great location next to the beach, I was all inclusive but couldn't get anything at the Hotel beach bar all inclusive.The pool bar served drinks but the beer was not drinkable.I would warn anyone not to book this Hotel it is only for Italians, French, ect Jet2 should not be putting Britsh guest especially solo travelers in this Hotel.   Such a shame that this hotel proved to be no more than a 2star and that’s pushing it. Do not believe what TUI state as included Food was covered in flies every day and the hot food was warm at best. The “all inclusive” is just made up. Beer and wine ran out but perhaps that was because it came to light whilst we were there that it was the last week of the season. We were not included in any activities largely due to us not speaking or understanding French. The “luxury” room although kept clean needed a bit of maintenance. Only 1 euro charging point which was in the bathroom! The sewage plant left a lot to be desired. I can honestly say this is the first time I have left a bad review after many holidays.   Don’t be fooled by the reviews and ratings!

  I have never left a negative review before but feel compelled to write this so that others don’t get duped by the Tripadvisor reviews and the hotel’s ratings like we did. I wish I had seen Diane M’s review before we left. I tried to move hotel within 12 hours of being there but it wasn’t possible due to my T&Cs. There are so many aspects this hotel needs to improve to be a 4 Star hotel by UK standards. It is much more akin to a UK 2 Star. I could write much more but here is a brief summary: The rooms are very small and basic even though we had a ‘Deluxe’. E.g. only one euro socket in the room, air-con ineffective, hard beds, no drinking glasses provided. There is no soundproofing and you can hear pretty much everything from above and next door. The buildings and grounds require significant investment. They are old, run down and poorly maintained. E.g All walkways are damp and mouldy The facilities are average and the photos are very misleading. E.g The pool is probably only 10m long. The food was totally substandard. Very few options and if lucky the hot food was warm but often cold. The worst aspect was the lack of hygiene in relation to the swarm of flies that were present. None of the cold food was covered meaning literally hundreds of flies dined with us, so we had even fewer options. Drinks offer was very limited with no local spirits available with a mixer, only in a cocktail where local spirits were mixed to create drinks. The beer on draft in the bar was good, less so in the restaurant. No drinking water in bottles are provided and you can’t buy them from the shop. If you do have a bottle you aren’t allowed to fill it at the water machine. The hotel caters pretty much exclusively for French guests (who looked like they had a good time) meaning few staff spoke English and very little information was provided in English. This did have an impact on the holiday but it was the hotel overall which was the main problem. The location is very remote with the nearest shop being 5 miles away. There are hardly and bars to restaurants in a walkable distance. No transportation for trips are provided by TUI as it is so far away from Algerho (50 minutes in an expensive taxi). On the upside, the hotel is in close proximity to a beautiful beach and sea. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were very good and did their best to help and understand us. Housekeeping was also good. The hotel management didn’t engage with us at all but this may have been down to language.they have put odd rules in place e.g. sitting at the same table all week. Charging 5€ to change a beach towel. All in all the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in and British holiday companies need to review and in my view remove this hotel from their offer or change the rating to manage expectations or they will have many more unhappy customers.   I have been staying in the hotel for a week. It was my first time in Sardinia, and all staff at the hotel made it a very special experience. I strongly recommend the place. Chiara, Giulia, Johnny, Manu And Nani from animation/activities team could not do more to enjoy the time here! Their passion and enthusiasm spread across to everyone in the hotel. Reception could not be more helpful and polite - they went extra mile for their guests. Food and waiters made sure that you feel like at home too! If you want to spend a quality time abroad - you should come here.
