    Hotel was average, rooms large but nothing special. I would describe it as pretty average for a 4* hotel. The major let down and biggest surprise was the restaurant, it offered a very basic menu and a lot of frozen food! I asked for a 'green' salad one evening and was given a large bowl full of chopped iceberg lettuce and nothing else!!

    I am a Hilton Gold member and utilize other chains a lot too. if you need a place to stay at a reasonable price in Lecce, this works unless:1 You need wifi It did not work at all on the floors, despite trying two different hotel wifi locations. 2 You need a good fitness center This one has one elliptical, one recliner bike, and two treadmills along with a few weights No towels, waters, cleaning supplies for machines3 you need more than one outlet in the room while the room and adjoining bathroom was comfortable enough, having one outlet it the room that worked made charging tough There are supposed to be outlets attached to headboard but they were no longer usable4 you want to do laundry — there is one W/D but the hotel ran out of tokens5 You want a delicious breakfast — I have been to Italy a dozen times and find it to be the best culinary experience each time The buffet here was just awful— bad pastries, heavy scrambled eggs, a few pieces of bread, some supermarket links . I eat everything but this made my palate wince One positive: the woman at the front desk who received me was gracious in finding me a room early in the morning after a jet eye Second positive: price was fair The hotel needs some upgrading

    Nice but a bit far from the historical center

    Modern hotel outside the historical center- about a 25- 30 minute walk away. Spacious room but rather dark due to several walls covered in a dark wood laminate. There was a large desk and a safe. There were 4 outlets scattered around the room but no USB ports. Adequate hanging space for clothes. The room has lots of odd cubbies for storage. The headboard with attached shelving in lieu of nightstands was made for a king bed; but the bed in the room was a queen making it difficult to reach items on the shelves from the bed. The bathroom was quite large and had a tub/shower combo. Water pressure was good but the tub floor was extremely slippery. The supplied hair dryer only provided hot air at low speed. Lots of counter space. Breakfast was a very nice buffet with a lot of local food items. Staff friendly and helpful. There is adequate parking for cars. Its location is the main drawback- but finding a hotel with parking in the center city is almost impossible.

    We stayed as part of a package holiday through Tui (bed and breakfast)Overall, I had a lovely stay. The ladies and gentlemen working at the hotel were professional, helpful and friendly. I just wish that my command of the Italian language was better 🙂.Comfortable bedroom, and the restaurant, bar and swimming facilities were good.Special thanks to Gigi at the bar for all his help. The “pink spritz” was excellent 🙂.I would stay here again.

    I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Giancarlo De Venuto, the manager of the Hilton Hotel, for his kindness and support. After spending four days in such a pleasant environment, surrounded by caring, warm, and attentive staff, we unfortunately faced a serious problem with our car at the time of departure. Mr. De Venuto did everything he could to assist us, and we are truly grateful for his help, his kindness, and his availability.
