    Spotlessly clean room, albeit a little soul less. Shower was on the small side. Breakfast was adequate. Good centre based hotel. Felt very safe as a female solo traveller.

    What a port in a storm this hotel was for us! Our ship was cancelled with no prior warning. Luckily the ticket agent gave us the name of the Barsotti and we were lucky enough to get a room. The staff were all comforting and helpful. The hotel is simple but the staff's caring and concern for its customers make it a great plce to stay. Simple but nice and a reasonable price.

    We stayed at the Hotel Barsotti at the end of August. We were very impressed with the owner and his team members. We had a large problem occur during our stay there and although the problem had nothing to do with the hotel Mr Barsotti, his daughter and his team members went away and above service and helped us resolve our problems. The problem occurred when my wife had to go to the hospital for tests after we were removed from a cruise ship. My wife had gone straight to the hospital and I registered at the hotel and dropped our suitcase off and then went to the hospital. After 10 hours of waiting at the hospital I went back to the hotel to get a change of clothing for my wife. I explained to Mr Barsotti what was happening and he telephoned the hospital and as soon as he had spoken to them my wife got attended to. We were unable to get back on the cruise and MR Barsotti's daughter arrange internal flights to Venice where we were going to continue our holiday.

    The Hotel is very nice and clean. Services are great and the staff are very friendly. I stayed two weeks and felt that I am at home. Highly recommended. the hotel is very close to the city center. Super market, shops and restaurants are very close. the port and the train station is very close.

    Charming hotel direct in the city center. We were lucky to stay in a big room with a large balcony. Booked the room on the same day of the arrival via phone and the people were very friendly.
