    Gorgeous hotel in centre of brindisi Ideally located to all amenities We spenf four nights as group of friends exploring Brindisi and near by towns by train.this was our first time in puglia and we had a blast At first glance hotel is bit oldy worldy but this is in facf its charm factorStaff are wonderfully warm and pleasantRooms are clean and bed comfortable Breakfast is adequate with lovely staffJohnny in bar is very attentativeOnly gripe is Coffee served in breakfast room is not very good at all but they will give you something else if you order eg cappuccino etc from barThe food selection is also a little limited but its ok for continental you will find something to eatReception staff very pleasant and accommodatingWe would return and stay again.     Excellent hotel, clean and quiet, close both to the seaside promenade and to the old town and city center of Brindisi, as well as to landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. John and the archaeological museum. The rooms are clean and well-kept (a small drawback is that we didn’t have a terrace), and the bathrooms are equipped with hygiene amenities. The breakfast is okay, with a selection of food :) (a downside for Italy was that the coffee was poor, but you have the option to order from the bar).

    My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay at Hotel Orientale. The facilities (inc breakfast) were top quality, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. Not wanting to single anyone out, but Andrea had to deal with the majority of our requests which he did cheerfully and efficiently. We look forward to returning some time.     We spent two days at Hotel Orientale on our arrival in Italy and then one day on our return to Brindisi. We highly recommend this hotel. Great location in the heart of the city, close to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful harbor. The staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging transportation for us. The breakfasts were substantial.... very clean, quiet, welcoming hotel.     We stayed for 2 nights before our tour round the heel of Italy and we could not have wished for a better start to the trip. The receptionist was so helpful and welcoming when we arrived and we had a lovely suite on the top floor with a balcony. The location was perfect, 10 minutes to the railway station and 5 minutes to the harbour front. The city sights are all nearby and the old town and setting are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of hot and cold food. On our final morning,which happened to be my birthday, Toni and the staff gave a lovely serenade to the Stevie Wonder song along with a muffin, cream and a candle for me to blow out! The receptionist must have told them from my passport details and it was a lovely surprise which will live long in the memory.
