Recently bought and restored by Rocco Forte, it has acquired all the features of a true 5-star luxury hotel, deeply rooted in the traditions of Puglia.Unlike many other local masserie, Torre Maizza blends into a truly outstanding and unique whole its original architecture, the region’s famous local stone, luxurious comfort, and the fragrances of the land—jasmine, citrus groves, and myrtle.What was once hospitality offered to travelers and monks has now become an exclusive and refined form of hospitality: a feast for the eyes, characterized by understated elegance rather than fleeting trends, and enriched by first-class amenities such as a golf course, a swimming pool surrounded by greenery and framed by a beautifully restored colonnade, and a rooftop terrace overlooking the entire valley.It is impossible not to award the highest rating, both for the experience of strolling through a place steeped in history and beauty, among avenues lined with olive trees and bougainvillea, and for the extraordinary organization, attention to detail, and kindness of the service in every respect.     Masseria Torre Maizza is an incredible place. to spend time. It is secluded, quiet, luxurious, beautiful and the food is fabulous. It is a great place to use as a base in Puglia but do understand it is not in a town or a short walk to a town so transportation is necessary once there. So long as you are okay with that and have transportation or you understand that staff can arrange it for you and it is short drives to many places then it is a great place to get away. There is a short course golf course.The swimming pool was fabulous and many units have private swimming pools. The rooms were exquisite. To me the restaurant was the best. The food was consistently amazing. The breakfast buffet was full of choices. The dinners were incredible. Our server in the restaurant for dinner was Marianna. She was soooo wonderful we asked for her table the nights we went back. What a delight to have great food, great service and such nice people. I highly recommend Masseria Torre Maizza

    Having just returned from Masseria Torre Maizza I have nothing but positive vibes. The hotel is absolutely stunning. We stayed in a beautiful pool suite. The staff are so friendly, extremely professional and full of brilliant tips for restaurants, shops, gelato, cool vibes. The bar provides a really relaxing early evening chill out experience.It was a belated birthday stay and the team made it special.This was our first visit but we’re already planning to return.Thank you for making this trip a memorable one.And a special thank you for the gelato suggestions:-)

    We had a great time at Bougainvillea with virtuous pianist Mino.My family and I went for drinks at the bar and little did we know we ended up singing along with him.  Mino is so wonderful and inviting that he started to play some Boleros for us and then later on, I sang some Italian songs with him. He made me feel like we played together for the longest time!  After a while he welcomed some new guests that arrived and we sang in English for them.  Also our family friend was so happy to dance with all his repertoire! We are definitely thinking of coming back next year to keep our sing along! Mino definitely is a great Entertainer!!!
