  Overpriced nice little hotel in very nice old town location

  Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect right in the old town with great views of the city beach. Logically corresponding street noise, i.e. Oropax should be with you. The decor of the rooms was a bit extravagant with round bed and spa bath. However, I would have preferred a proper shower and a normal bed. The staff was very helpful and helpful. On the arrival day they were still waiting for us at 22:30 and wishes for restaurant recommendations, further duvet were done immediately. That's great.Cons: Very steep stairs in the house requires some physical fitness especially when carrying suitcases up. Parking is disastrous and expensive. The air conditioning in the room had almost no effect. The roof terrace described in the description was not usable as not cleaned and also the hot tub there was not prepared.   Reservation two weeks in advance.Deposit requested and made, heard the day before Our arrival to ask for chek information in confirmed Response.Arrived in the structure no one to welcome us.We called to open the door and the receptionist showed up half an hour later under a nice 40 degree sun and after two hours of travel. He asked us our names and guess what......???? Not existing...your room is already occupied. What????? Nothing to do. I don't know what to do. There's nothing we can do. We go to the other structure where to welcome us there was someone this time.... yes but a great rude.!!!! I don't know what to do I don't care...... it was a nightmare!!!!   The website does not accurately portray the reality of this dreadful place.A steep set of stairs to what they call a suite which in fact is a tiny room with no space to open luggage. The website says there is a pool, deck chairs and a chill out space- non existent where theQueen suite is located. The balcony is not much bigger than a bath towel. There is no table in the room for the breakfast.The TV is surrounded by a frame so the remote doesn’t work from the bed. No in room safe, no wardrobe, no telephone to contact reception, no proper shower( there is a handheld rose over the spa bath). We did however have a helpful young man assist us with our bags up the very steep stairs after shuffling of a couple of old men who decided to chill out on the narrow steps to the street. For the price it is a rip off!!!

  The person responsible to answer the emergency number hung up when we asked why the jacuzzi in the King Suite did not work. The price paid did not worth the facilities they apparently offer! We do not recommend this accommodation and suggest you to avoid it!

  Terrible! Avoid the “Luxury” Room - hot, humid, smelly, noisy and dangerous

  This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. A recent and failed attempt to turn a windowless cellar into some type of “luxury”room. No view and only a door opening directly onto the street. The weirdly large ground level pool was only 1 foot from the weirdly round bed. The room was tiny, noisy, hot, humid and smelt. During the day the 1kw pool pump made headache inducing noises, competing with the similarly noisy humidifier in the tiny space. Don’t be fooled the website, the room has no view and is a health hazard. The air conditioning was set at 18 degrees but could only manage to hold the temperature at 27 degrees. Bed was too small due to the shape. No room for luggage at al. Every time the toilet upstairs was used out room smelt the. Management will not answer requests for smell removal and different rooms via What’s Up unless prompted. Our friend had a room above which was less expensive and a window which looked OK.
