  Charming and comforting stay

  We stayed on a room only basis in the Caminetto Room which is in a separate building from the main hotel and we didn’t use any of the other facilities or the restaurant. This suited us well as we were, effectively in a ‘rental’ (although without a kitchen area) but with the back up of the hotel if we needed it. Pre-arrival communications were excellent as was check-in for which we were early but we were allowed to leave our bags and the hotel ‘whatsapped’ us when the room was ready. We were then walked round to the room by the very friendly and helpful receptionist who explained everything we needed to know. The room was lovely and suited our needs… there was a sitting area in addition to the bedroom and bathroom areas. All fittings of good quality and working properly. Location of the room was nice…tucked away in a quiet street beside the main church but very convenient and an easy walk to everything. The room felt like very good value… indeed, almost modestly priced in comparison with some of the Trulli properties I looked at. Unlikely I’ll return to Alberobello but a hotel that I’d recommend to friends.

  Unique, quaint!

  We are 65 and 70, have lived in Germany for two years, have travelled all over the world and this was the most unique and inviting hotel room we’ve ever stayed in! We appreciate uniqueness and not high end fancy but the Trullo room was impeccably clean, up to date and truly historically unique. Meals were delicious and personnel friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend.   A Peaceful Retreat in Alberobello

  Our five-night stay at Palazzo Scotto this past Christmas was the absolute highlight of our two-week Italian holiday. After a busy start in Naples, this historic mansion turned “boutique” hotel provided the perfect, peaceful respite we needed after a stressful year.With only 6 or 7 suites, the atmosphere is incredibly intimate. We stayed in the "Cummerse" traditional suite, which was both charming and spacious for our family of three. The layout felt very private, with a dedicated staircase and a full kitchen. The highlight, however, was the private terrace; it offered unparalleled views of the trulli landscape and the Parrocchia Santuario Basilica S.S. Cosma E Damiano. Waking up to that vista was a dream.The customer service here is truly top-notch. On our first morning, I mistakenly thought breakfast was delivered to the room (which is not the standard protocol); despite my error, the staff was incredibly kind and granted the request without hesitation. The team (Ciao, Ana!) greeted us by our first names every day and made us feel like family. Their graciousness is what makes this hotel very special.We enjoyed breakfast daily at the downstairs café, which transforms into NOS Ristorante for lunch and dinner. The food is exceptional and lives up its high Tripadvisor ratings. The location is an ideal launching pad for exploring; it’s an easy walk to the historic center, which was breathtakingly beautiful with Christmas lights, an ice skating rink, and a festive night market.Palazzo Scotto allowed us to fully decompress and sleep soundly before we headed to Rome for the final leg of our trip. If you are looking for a blend of elegance, history, and genuine Italian hospitality, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I am feeling so nostalgic just writing this review and cannot wait to for our next visit.
