Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Lecce, next to the Basilica of Santa Croce and a few steps from the Roman amphitheatre. Restaurants and bars can be found in Lecce, around 2-5 minutes' walk from the hotel, while the bus and train stations and links to public transport are right next to the hotel. Guests may also be interested in visiting Otranto (41 km), the seaside at Jonio (20 km), Brindisi (40 km), or the beach at Gallipoli (43 km).

The hotel was built in 1900. The hotel has 2 junior suites, 20 single rooms and 45 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by a lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     We absolutely love this hotel! We’ve travelled all over Puglia and this hotel was absolutely the best. From the moment we arrived, when we were served champagne while they checked us in, until the moment we left a few days later, the staff bent over backwards to make our stay absolutely exceptional.The entire building, located in the very heart of Lecce, is elegant and marvellously modern. Our room was very spacious, and the complementary chocolates and bottle of champagne were most appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely first class, especially enjoyed the morning we had it in their outside patio, and the lunch we had at their rooftop restaurant was delicious and very memorable.     Perfection In Every Way

    There are not enough wonderful things I can say about this hotel. It was perfect in every way.The location is incredible- opposite the Basilica of Santa Croce right in the middle of Lecce. Yet it was not noisy or busy.The hotel is gorgeous from the minute you walk in. The lobby is a wonderful welcome. But the room was extraordinary in every way. Decoration, size, layout, bathroom. Perfection.The breakfast was by far the best I have ever seen in any hotel I have ever stayed at- and served in a lovely room,Most important of all- the staff was truly amazing right from the start. So kind, so warm, so professional. Then, when I had a crisis and had my flight to Palermo cancelled ( and rebooked two days later), they did everything they could do to help me out with regards to my booking at the hotel.I want to say a special thanks to Simone and Alessa.I could go on forever raving about this hotel. My wish is that someday soon I can return. And soon.Thank you Patria Palace for everything.     Patria Palace is a truly five star experience. Incredibly location and amazing service. Our room was beautiful apart from an internal window - wonder if we’d just been give a readily available room - should have said something but we didn’t. Next time I would choose a room with a window onto the Basilica as this view, as from the roof terrace, is stunning. Fantastic breakfast especially if you can eat outside.     This is a classy hotel in a wonderful location...with old world charm and modern amenities. Old town Lecce is not huge but the hotel is in the middle of it...so location is ideal.The room (#111) was spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet. The concierge staff was helpful and attentive.     Special place in the center of Lecce

    Absolutely deserves 5 stars across the board. We spent three nights here to begin our trip to Puglia. Lecce is a fascinating City, and it is impossible to imagine a better location that the Patria Palace, which sits right in the middle of everything, but on a quiet cul-de-sac. Public spaces handsome and fresh, we had a very comfortable room, everyone on the staff was warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Raffaella and Simone of the front desk/concierge team. Excellent restaurant recommendations, and ready and happy to respond to any request. This is a very special place.
